I was looking for a spot to have an espresso martini and a small bite after seeing a movie. I drive past J & A on the way home. I knew it’d be busy but figured I’d stop in. The wait was an hour and a half ( this was on a Saturday night) the host was very kind and said we could check for seats at the bar. Lucky for my mom and I two had just opened up. The bartender was very fast in acknowledging us and giving us menus.
We ordered two espresso martinis, one with Bailey’s one without. My mom ordered the J & A burger and I ordered the burrata salad. The burrata salad was absolutely perfect for what I was looking for. Light and a good portion. My mom was happy with her burger. I had one bite and it was a very salty bite. I might have gotten mostly the crust of the burger.
Overall, very happy with my experience at this restaurant and would love to go back.

Even on a busy night like New Year’s Eve, Jacob and Anthony’s Italian Restaurant delivered. The bar was packed, yet the bartenders were great—friendly, efficient, and truly attentive. Service never slipped despite the crowd. The drinks were well made, and the appetizers impressed. The meatball was fantastic, and the calamari was cooked perfectly. We came for a late lunch, and left very satisfied. Eddie, our waiter, was friendly and attentive. Sunday gravy and tortellini carbonara were delicious. Though we didn’t order an appetizer, we were provided with warm crusty bread and dipping oil prior to our meal. Prices were reasonable, and portions were plentiful.

I am in love with their marinara sauce. Every dish was amazing. The service was impressive too. I tried arancini, bruschetta, truffle fries, and Pasta with vodka sauce. Although the pasta was a bit pricey, every dish was perfect. I would definitely recommend this place.

Went on a busy Saturday night with a short wailing list but plenty of room at the bar. The service was good. The food arrived quickly with great plated presentation. We got the meatballs app and split a chicken dish and Tuscan salad.

I recently visited Jacob &Anthony in Styvansant plaza for a family members birthday dinner,as always the establishment made us feel welcomed and accommodating us for a family dinner, service was amazing by Ryan our server and attentive to keeping us refreshed with beverages and plenty of delicious foods, the management for stopping by to make sure everything was good,and as always great food,great service and great atmosphere. I stopped by for lunch because I truly enjoy their salad.
The food was good. The portion was perfect. My only issue was not having a fork to eat with. It was disappointing since I specifically asked the young lady if it was in the bag. She assured me it was and it wasn’t. The food was fresh and I absolutely would order it again.
I highly recommend the salads and wines here.

Bartender Niki is the best! Foods good, drinks even better. Pizza delicious here. Get the bolognese but ask with a cream tomato sauce instead… Thats way better combo.

This is our second visit to Jacob & Anthony’s. Everything was delicious! The pasta is out of this world. My husband had the Sea Bass and said it was perfect! Beautiful white meat, fluffy and perfect seasoning. ( I’m getting that the next time I go).
Our friend ordered a wedge salad which was amazing and huge. We ended up sharing it.
Our server was wonderful. The holiday decorations are gorgeous and tastefully done!
We live about 3 hours away and I already can’t wait to come back!
I’m mad at myself for not taking photos of our meals! (I will next visit for sure.)

We enjoyed an excellent lunch accompanied by genuinely friendly service.
The bread was served warm with flavorful olive oil. The salads were fresh with bright flavors. The housemade pasta and sauce was satisfyingly rich and delicious.
One small note that I hope management takes note of:
There are copious amounts of dust EVERYWHERE starting at about 8 feet above floor level. Dust clung to the walls, beams, and every horizontal service (pretty gross to look at). And not just a little dust; this looks like years’ worth of accumulation (zoom in on my last picture).
