Came on 2/21/26 at 4:15pm and the waitress was very passive aggressive. Didn’t greet us or acknowledge us for a few minutes. Then when we stated that our checks were separate and she just went sour, no customer service, made it seem like our orders were “too much” when she was reading it off to the cook(we like hash browns) and blatantly ignored us when we needed refills. There were only 2-3 tables there including my table. At the end she “tossed”our checks and to go containers on the table with no word. She was very silent but aggressive. When it was near time that we were finishing our food she stood there and waited until my guest took their last bite to take their plate to the back.
Thanks honey, we loved that. You’ll get great tips that way. Keep up the work! If you couldn’t tell i was being sarcastic.
Another thing to note, food was great though, always good food at Waffle House.

First time visitor! On Thanksgiving Day, so special thanks to employees, especially Misty. She said she’d been there 25 years. Was nice to visit with, yet very efficient.

I just stopped in for a late lunch and everything was PHENOMENAL!!! My over medium eggs were cooked with precision and had the perfect amount of runniness. Words can’t even begin to describe how perfect the hash browns were. Perfectly crisp and delectable. And last but not the least, the waffle, I don’t think I’ve ever had a waffle from Waffle House that REALLY hit the spot quite like the one I had at the owasso location. Makayla was the very kind and friendly girl who took my order and brought everything out in an extremely timely manner. I can’t say enough good things about this Waffle House, if you’re wanting a great, cheap, and quick breakfast, LOOK NO FURTHER!!!

This location should have never let Crazy Asian Lady go… its gone down hill since she left. .. You all should have made her a manager.. she was awesome and deserved a double salary in our opinion!

I recently dined at Waffle House in Owasso and had a delightful experience! The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff immediately made me feel at home. I highly recommend the classic All-Star Special; the waffles were fluffy, and the hash browns were perfectly crispy. Service was quick, and the price was more than reasonable. A great spot for a tasty meal! the food is amazing as always.. i really hope you expand up to Ponca City.. a franchise there would do extremely well.

Waffle House Owasso is our go to. It’s consistently good, fun to watch the cooks in action, and David makes the best eggs in town (ALWAYS PERFECT). All of the servers are great, but Misty is our favorite. We tend to go when it’s not super busy and she always takes a minute to talk with us. It’s that personal touch that keeps us coming back to this location. 5 Stars for Waffle House Owasso. Respectfully, Dil B

Of all of the Waffle Houses this one is our favorite. The food is always good but the best part is the service. I have never had anything less than extremely friendly, fast, and fun service. The employees seem like they really do enjoy working there and it shows to the customers. They hustle and get your food out to you very fast. Store is always very clean and we rarely have to wait for a table.

Came in and ordered, and the dang people for the fire inspection walked in, so it slowed down things for a moment, but that is not their fault. Biscuits and gravy are insanely good. People are super friendly. I’d recommend (when it’s not busy)

Worst Waffle House I’ve ever experienced. We walked in and were completely ignored. A woman sitting at the counter washing dishes didn’t acknowledge us at all and instead yelled to someone in the back to get off lunch to help us. She then called another coworker to clock in just to serve us.
When the server finally came over, she told us to wait while she washed her hands and put on gloves, but started asking for our order while still putting the gloves on. We had to repeat our order twice, and the whole interaction felt disorganized and unprofessional. After that, everything was just thrown together and rushed.
To top it off, the food was disgusting. Terrible service, terrible food — definitely won’t be back.

Is there anything more quintessentially American? This location on 2nd St in Owasso delivers exactly what you expect – and that’s precisely why I keep coming back. It’s not fancy, it’s not trying to be. It’s just good, honest food, cooked right in front of you, 24/7.

The Food: Let’s be real, you know what you’re getting at Waffle House. And that’s a good thing! Fluffy waffles, crispy bacon, perfectly cooked eggs (scrambled, over easy, you name it), and hashbrowns that can be customized every which way. I’m a big fan of the All-Star Special, but honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The beauty is in its simplicity and the ability to customize to your heart’s content. Late-night cravings? Waffle House. Early morning hunger pangs? Waffle House. Need a quick, satisfying meal any time of day? You guessed it – Waffle House.

The Atmosphere: This is where the Waffle House experience really shines. The open kitchen, the sizzling of the grill, the clatter of plates – it’s a symphony of breakfast (or lunch, or dinner!) being made. The staff is usually super friendly and engaging, often striking up conversations with customers. It’s a community vibe, a place where you can chat with your neighbor or just enjoy the show. Yes, sometimes it’s packed and you might have to wait a few minutes, and other times it’s eerily quiet. But that’s part of the charm! The unpredictable nature of the crowd adds to the unique Waffle House experience.

The Service: Generally, the service is quick and efficient, even when they’re busy. The cooks are masters of multitasking, flipping burgers and waffles with impressive speed. The waitresses are usually friendly and attentive, making sure your coffee cup is never empty. I’ve only had a couple of minor hiccups with service over numerous visits, and they were always quickly resolved.

The Location: For me, the convenience is a huge plus. This location on 2nd St is easily accessible and usually just a short drive away. Knowing I can always count on Waffle House for a good meal, no matter the time of day, is incredibly comforting.

Overall: Waffle House isn’t fine dining, and it doesn’t pretend to be. It’s a classic American diner that delivers consistent, satisfying food in a unique and often entertaining atmosphere. It’s a place where you can get a good meal, a friendly chat, and a taste of Americana, all at a reasonable price. While it might not be a five-star gourmet experience, it’s a solid four stars for what it is – a reliable, always-open, and genuinely enjoyable place to grab a bite. I’ll definitely be back – probably sooner rather than later!

Sat down. Got asked if we knew what we wanted about 5 minutes later without us even having menus. Messed up me and my boyfriends order. Put my vegetables on his food instead of mine. Also found a hair in my food. This place used to be a lot better. Food was still good though
