Social Profile:

““La Boulangerie” means the bread bakery in French. Chef Francois Danielo bakes the bread and the pastries and Chef Nadia DeJesus cooks the soups and the dishes, and prepares the sandwiches and the salads. The philosophy at La Boulangerie is to bake and cook small batches by our own team using high quality ingredients. We do not use preservatives or chemicals. Some of our breads use organic flours. We take our time to bake and cook our products; we do not cut corners. Our breads are given the perfect amount of time to proof, with some breads rising for 12 hours. Each bread has its own recipe and preferment. We bake our own croissants and pastries and cook our stocks from scratch. We pay great attention to detail.

Charming counter serve featuring sweet & savory French baked goods, plus quiches & crepes.

The food is good.
Service not so friendly and no one cleans the tables between customers so it is quite dirty to sit and eat at a table. Too bad because the food is authentic french with decent prices.
No toilets

Love all pastries here the best, I put 3 stars bc when they open first thing there is harly anything out, hard to get the almond crosants so I go as soon as they open and they don’t have and I ask maybe in tge oven or how long they don’t know thats very annoying when one is trying to beat the crowd, otherwise I have to say they have the best baking goods and all breads but like I said very disappointed the many times I go for these almond crosants at different times and hardly never get and just get out w a scone and coffee, which the coffee is great. This was today at 7:25 am on a Saturday

I had been eyeing this place for years because it’s one of the few French bakeries that serve fraisier cakes. I was finally brave enough to go in and get one, and the taste was divine. It was simple yet balanced flavors and not too sweet! ❤️ Would love to come back and try other items.

I finally visited the bakery my friend had been raving about, and it truly lived up to the hype! She told me they serve great coffee, and there’s always a line — a clear sign of its popularity. The French owner carefully selects the best ingredients, and it shows in the quality of the pastries and the service. We sat at a table outside, enjoying the lovely +24°C weather. Each of us ordered a soup, which came in beautiful bowls and had generous portions. The soups were served with several slices of sourdough bread and butter, a perfect complement. I’ve been a fan of their eclairs for a while now, they are simply delicious! Today, I tried the raspberry opera cake — it was good, but a bit of an acquired taste. Overall, a wonderful experience, and I’ll definitely be back!

It’s a great bakery.

For all the people comparing it to their favorite bakery in Paris… ok good for you. Then maybe rate it 4 stars at the lowest. It won’t beat the best in Paris, but it’s honestly better than a decent number I’ve been to.

This is easily on of the very best bakeries in queens. Croissant, baguette, and rugelach are fantastic.

Food is okay. Soup is amazing. Staff is very friendly and kind. Dispite them working on this cold winter day during A SNOW STORM ! these are young adults. Everyone is red and rushing and they look very drained. I’m not sure why this store is open during this weather and they aren’t emergency services. I did stop in to get some items but these young adults deserve the day off today! I hope the staff stays warm and friendly during these horrific cold times! I wouldn’t want to be working on a day like this either but they kept all smiles ! Josh made amazing coffee and Neshan was extremely helpful on what desserts to get.

The people working here are downright nasty. Please change your staff at the counter! They are not suitable for this lovely bakery. The girls who slice the break & take the orders at the front counter should be fired asap. They are rude and nasty. Even touching the bread with their bare hands and talking over the food! 2 girls were gossiping about there lives the entire time I was ordering right in front of me behind the counter. This happened 3x already. No class. I used to come here more often, but this has turned me off. I can’t believe they are permitted to work here – they can at least do something valuable with their time like be kind, clean & welcome guests with a smile.

Such a quaint and cozy boulangerie with exquisite pastries and bread. I got a brioche loaf that was quite affordable and made a beautiful bread pudding with it. For a second visit, I got an eclair which was so delicious, but pretty pricey. There are only a few seats, so you might not be able to sit inside during a busy time. The staff are very friendly 🙂

Some workers are quite rude. I visit often at least two times a week. Came in for Mother’s Day breakfast and was met by the rudest nastiest cashier clerk who also happens to be the storefront manager as I was told when I asked to speak with one. She was clueless and being rude because she was being slow and not understanding me. Older woman and seems fairly This place used to be really nice. I’m used to the fast paced happy and outgoing young adults. They’re starting to hire rude grumpy older people who have no work or customer service ethic. Overall the food is very good. Pastries are to die for. Check my receipt and I have a tip for you. Niomi you should get a better job if you’re going to have bad customer service. If you don’t like your job get a new one. We all have bad days but you don’t treat your customers like this especially the loyal ones.

I’m ecstatic

Such a fantastic bakery with high caliber offerings. Was doing a century ride today and stopped here at mile 80 to replenish all the carbs burned.

The salmon croissant delivered a nice smoked flavor and was decadent in every aspect

I asked for a medium coffee but somehow ended up with a 10 oz cup. Large is 16 oz?

Self seating. 3 small tables & 1 large shared communal table. The cafe is small but cozy. Pretty much eat & go. No washroom either, sadly ☹️.

Once the order is taken & paid. Food comes to your table quickly.

Very friendly staff & vibes

Feeling loved
