We placed our order, but the sushi from our order was forgotten and only brought after we reminded the staff. It was unpleasant, as the wait became much longer than expected.
We also asked for napkins, but the waiters never brought them. Instead, they were sitting at the bar, chatting and even dancing, without paying attention to the guests. This kind of attitude seems unprofessional and disrespectful.
In addition, I find it completely inappropriate to sweep leaves right under the guests’ tables while they are eating. Dust was flying around, which created discomfort and ruined the experience. In moments like that, you just want to leave as quickly as possible rather than order more food.
It’s very unfortunate because the place looks nice, but the service left a very negative impression. I hope the management will pay attention to the organization of the staff and the level of service.
Grand Café is hands down one of the best kosher coffee spots in Aventura, Florida. From the moment you walk in, you feel the care, warmth, and attention to detail. The atmosphere is inviting and relaxed—perfect for a business meeting, catching up with friends, or simply enjoying a quiet moment with a great cup of coffee.
The coffee is excellent, the food is consistently fresh and delicious, and the menu offers a wonderful variety for breakfast, light meals, and pastries. Everything is beautifully presented and clearly prepared with high standards of kashrut and quality.
What really sets Grand Café apart is the service. The staff is friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming, always making you feel at home. It’s rare to find a place that combines great kosher food, great coffee, and great vibes so seamlessly.
Highly recommended for locals and visitors alike. If you’re in Aventura and looking for a top-notch kosher café, this is the place to go!
There were many servers and very few customers, yet they did not want to seat us. After we finally sat down, we waited five minutes without being greeted or acknowledged. Then we were asked to stand and wait because the table was “reserved.” That reservation arrived about ten minutes later, while other tables were still being cleared.
Given the size of the restaurant and the low number of guests (photos attached for reference), we could have easily dined and left during that time. Unfortunately, there was no effort to accommodate us or offer alternatives. The manager was unwilling to help.
With service like this, it’s hard to understand how this place expects to stay in business.
I visited Grand Café Adventure while on a work trip, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing.
First, the restaurant needs to be upfront about their 20% service charge. It was not clearly visible or explained anywhere, and I only noticed it when reviewing my bill — something I always do before paying. I also found errors on my check for items I never received, which is unacceptable.
When I arrived, there was no one to greet me, and throughout my visit, it was difficult to find staff when I needed anything additional. The food was just okay, but the service was lacking.
When I asked the waitress for the manager’s name and contact information, I was told to “go to Google and find it there.” That response was unprofessional and dismissive.
Additionally, with prices as high as they are here, the service should absolutely match that level of cost and presentation. Guests deserve transparency, attentiveness, and respect for the amount they’re spending.
Also, the fine print about the 20% service charge was hidden on the next-to-last page of the main menu, way at the bottom, in tiny (around 5-point) blurry text. It was nearly impossible to notice. I was only given a single-page breakfast menu, since I ordered breakfast which there weren’t any mention of the service 20% charge. Guests should be clearly informed of these charges before ordering.
I’m sharing this review so management can address these issues and ensure better communication and hospitality for future guests.

I ordered sushi at this café and when I went to pour the soy sauce, not one—but two dead flies came out of the bottle. It completely ruined my appetite. I immediately called a waiter over, and all they did was bring me a new soy sauce. No apology. No concern. No acknowledgment of how unacceptable and unhygienic that is.
When the bill came, there was no discount, no gesture of goodwill—nothing. After something that shocking, I was honestly ready to walk out.
To make matters worse, the food itself wasn’t even good. And once I got home that night, I felt sick, which only made the whole experience even more disturbing.
This place seriously needs to reevaluate its cleanliness and how it treats customers. I will not be returning and would strongly caution others before eating here.
