Littlebird is a full-service restaurant + bar in downtown Grand Rapids. We serve dinner and daily brunch. Reservations available *dinner-only*; brunch is first-come, first-serve. We are committed to deliciousness and having fun doing what we love. It’s a place where meeting neighbors at the local café meets downtown hubbub, where folks from near and far feel comfortable and safe, whether stopping in during a bike ride, pre-gaming the opera, or anything in between. I think I’m gonna dream about the absolute flavor bomb this mushroom skewer packed with these refreshing coconut noodles! We were blown away by the New Years menu here, we made a reservation for our anniversary dinner and just wow! It was the best meal I’ve had all year, as a vegan I was so satisfied by their food that day. Small plates and super flavorful foods, well balanced, beautifully plated, and I can tell the chef here really took their time to come up with the menu that day. Hope to return and eat here again! Service was spectacular.

You get fine dining service, yet this is not a fine dining restaurant. This restaurant is very comfortable and cozy. The atmosphere is elegant yet casual. I saved the best for last; the food. The menu is small, but it doesn’t matter, because they have something for everyone. Everything is fresh, and made to order, and just fantastic! They do change the menu, so you will want to come back. Get reservations, because this place fills up quickly. We will be back, again and again. Did I mention the service; again, outstanding!

I visited Littlebird primarily interested in the company of my friends and not so much where we were eating. Next time I come it will be with intention, as the food was fantastic! My dish and the bits I ate of others were all great (both lunch and breakfast dishes). Definitely give Littlebird a try if you’re on the fence.
Update: I came back and had another great experience. Littlebird also ruined donuts for me with their Buttermilk Donuts and jam. As someone without much of a sweet tooth, they were probably one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Give them a shot!

I cannot say enough good things about little bird. Staff was amazing. Food to die for. Vibes you would fight for! Wagyu and Linguine fan freakintastic. If you’re looking for an experience please visit this amazing. We have dearly missed this type of service since Covid. Most of west Michigan restaurants staff is miserable and hate there life which has taken all the fun out of going out. Not here!!! Redemption a-crossed the board!! Thank you Little Bird!

This was our second time in for breakfast, and it was just as amazing as the first—consistency like that is hard to find! We had the sweet potato hash (which delivers every time) and the Little Sandwich. It really comes down to their ability to take simple pieces of a dish and make them incredible. Simple done better than you’ve ever had is the mark of true craft and care, and they nail it here.
We are already looking forward to returning for lunch and dinner. A huge thank you to Caleb, who was kind and gracious during our visit. Littlebird is fast becoming one of the reasons we love coming to GR. It’s busy for a reason, so grab a table if you can—you can’t miss here!

Everything was delicious!! It was our first time visiting the city and the restaurant. We tried 4 of the menu items, and it just melted in my mouth. The sweet potatoes were yummy. We had the bread pudding toast, sweet potato hash, two eggs toast and potatoes, and avocado toast. I lived the fact that they have vegan, gluten-free options. As a person with GERD, it makes eating much more digestible.

Thank you to Christian and the team at Littlebird for so graciously accommodating our 16 person party. You made the night celebratory and smooth with your professional and fun approach. We arrived early, and Jorge served us at the bar until our table was ready. Many of our party members had dietary restrictions, and the menu had multiple options for everyone. The plates were beautiful, and everyone enjoyed their food. Both servers (I’m sorry I forgot your names!) were very knowledgeable on the menu, gracious, and helpful. Some of our party returned later in the weekend for brunch. Can’t thank you enough for making us look good in front of our special guest!

Littlebird is genuinely such a wonderful place to eat at. The food is genuinely so good, with a menu that changes on a pretty regular basis. The drinks are phenomenal and always made with care. The smash burger is probably the best I’ve ever had. I don’t usually care for a burger but theirs is phenomenal and is ALWAYS on the menu. The staff is incredibly nice, and genuinely invested in your dining experience. They also are always sure to ask about dietary restrictions and allergies so it feels like a safe dining experience. All in all this place is a 10/10. Intimate with a relaxed atmosphere. You cannot go wrong.
