The Bavarian cream and apple fritter are both quite fresh and tasty.
Also, they are open 24/7 which is why I’m even here. The dining area is clean, for the most part.
Finally, the counter person is very polite, even if he didn’t know what an apple fritter is.

I had a wonderful quick meal! Got a simple Latte with my favorite swirls in it, and I saw I donut that I don’t usually see back home! I was visiting from Pasadena to a random location in San Francisco, and I’m happy that I chose the right one! The donut I saw was called the Chocolate Cream! New favorite donut! The whole team was very nice, welcoming, and friendly! Thank you guys for the welcoming hospitality and service.

The customer service is fine. But there needs to be better quality control with the food. I have gone here for over 5 years off and on. Every other time I get a “plain bagel” breakfast sandwhich the bread is very stale and hard to chew. It makes the food not edible and a waste of money. Management needs to have a better set up for the bread and how it sits, there should never be stale food served to paying customers.

I’m fond of the DD coffee so often grab one when convenient. They were my default coffee shop when I was in the east coast but they’re uncommon in the west.
This one is convenient to SFO airport and some of the hotels around it as there isn’t much else outside of commercial space. The staff is friendly and the donuts are decent.
The main drawback is the lack of a drive thru as the small shopping center isn’t set up for it. They do have some outdoor seating but your main view is the street.
Overall it’s fine and wouldn’t hesitate to make a quick stop there if you’re in the area.

Great spot and very convenient with plenty of parking. I wished it offered drive thru but the kiosks to self order are nice. The staff are very kind and sometimes they give me more munchkins than I ordered.

I grew up in New England, land of DD. And I can honestly say this might be the best I’ve been to. The woman who runs this place is amazing and efficient. Our orders were right every time, (if you frequent DD, you understand that the risk of a wrong order is part of the charm), and everything was great.

The morning shift always messes up my order. I know how my order should taste so when I come here it is always off. Today…. I gave them a 3rd time to order and they botched it again. They didn’t put any sweetener, they put whole milk when I asked for skim. I can’t return here because they just always botch my order.

The doughnuts are always delicious. And this was my first time having the avocado toast. It was delicious! I’ll be back just for that! But I gave them three stars because they got the drink orders wrong. And we had to go back in to get them fixed and it took just as long as the first time to get them fixed. So it’s like waiting twice for your one order. We ate almost all our food before we had our drinks. (Sorry ate all the doughnuts before we got to the other food and photos!)
