My first visit today definitely won’t be my last. Probably the best Reuben I’ve ever enjoyed. Sarah was our server and was perfect from start to finish. Pub atmosphere is casual and colorful. Next time I’ll get the onion rings also…my husband ordered them and I had to snitch a few! great musical selection!

Sarah our server was amazing!!! Food is also outstanding!!! But Sarah really makes this place. We love dive bars/pubs and this one is genuinely great, welcoming (which is really important) brilliant atmosphere and outstanding, delicious and substantive food. We were greatest and served by Sarah – WOW she was great made the whole experience fun, made us laugh multiple times
and cared about our kids. When our food arrived we were blown away! Will definitely be back.

One of the best burgers Ive ever had. Kitschy interior that’s authentic not chain like a certain barrel joint. Near a park and the river. My floridan self enjoyed the hills too. Worth checking out.

Stopped in for lunch and everything was fantastic! They make the best Reuben I’ve ever had! Today we had the Oyster Poe-boy and the French dip, both were delicious as well. I love their remoulade for the Poe-boy, it’s very dilly and obviously made in house.

The drinks we got were not very good. The Richmond Sour, I believe. Tasted almost watered down. We did not get any food, which might be the reason why the ratings are so high, but the stench of old fryer oil was super strong in this place. Maybe that’s why the food is so good, but it was not appetizing to me and my friends. There were also a couple of rough people in there. One of them wasn’t bothering anyone at all, but the other kept trying to bring his dog inside? It was rather strange. The live music was nice, if not a little loud had we not sat in the front room.

I got some chili cheese fries which were NOT cheap and they were all burnt which is all you could smell. There was hardly any chili on them at all. I paid extra for onion rings which were 97% all batter. My steak and cheese sub was good. It would have been much better with the mayo I requested but was by far the best thing I got from them. Oh, and the lettuce was disgusting
