Ok, the bar is beyond slow but when your drinks arrive they will hit you like three punches to the face. People, atmosphere, the game on point. Delicious $2 fried chicken and red beans and rice. …gets me here every Monday and Thursday. Did I mention the open mic night or the live Jazz? The Spot for pretty girls on a budget that like to get their groove on.

Wonderful Louisiana/ New Orleans Cuisine Experience
When I got inside the restaurant, I was charmed by the ambience and the story telling decoration. Reception lady was efficient and there was no wait at all.
We tried out the stuffed crab and Seafood platter, it well represents New Orleans flavors. My favorite part was their fried chicken, perfect crunch, juicy and tasty. The collard greens were absolutely delicious.
♥️ Team member Jennifer was amazing, she definitely is one of a kind. She would notice your needs before you even ask.
We missed out the jazz show since it’s Tuesday. We are so ready to come back again!

Good food and good cheer, felt like Louisiana even with the Rams supporters (Saints fans can never forgive the Rams). I wanted the okra gumbo but none available on the weekends, so seafood it was… With my fried oyster po-boy, I asked for potato salad but they gave me fries by accident and that was just fine because those fries were very very good. Service was pretty relaxed but still faster than NOLA, and both Marquisha and Miss Kimberly were very friendly. All and all a good experience but not cheap — WORD TO THE WISE: for drink I got a Coke on ice and didn’t think to check price on menu or ask to see if refills were covered. Those two cokes were $6.50 each — good thing I didn’t ask for a refill, it would have been more than the po-boy. Get water!!!!!

Food was great. Service was awesome.
Sodas had no free refill. Otherwise all was good.
Very welcoming environment and staff. Live jazz in the bar. Music not too loud, we were able to have a conversation without yelling over dinner.
The service was awesome and the food was great. Price adds up especially when sodas are $3.50 each and no free refills. Fried clams were good but not a $10.50 worthy amount.

I am glad to have chosen to have lunch here. Do they play oldies? Yes! Is the atmosphere for an older crowd? Yes! But the food was amazing, hot and flavorful. It was clean, cool and the staff was courteous. The entrance took a walk around the whole building to find. If you do not appreciate an older culture, go to Disneyland.

I will not be going back. One of the bar tenders forced me to tip her. She over charged me for a beer and pretty much told me to deal with it. They charge automatic gratuity, which is a forced tip. I would tip anyway. But, Im not ok with being forced.

I’ve been a loyal customer here for years, usually visiting at least four times a year—more during football season. The seafood platter (without the oysters) and a Long Island iced tea have always been my favorites.

Unfortunately, my visit on September 14, 2025 was unacceptable. I entered through the front door and, within twenty minutes, left through the back without ordering a thing. I was sitting at a table that was clearly dirty, crumbs everywhere, yet the waiter simply placed four clean cocktail napkins on the unclean surface.

When I politely asked if the table could be wiped down, she looked at me as if I had made an unreasonable request and never came back. The restaurant was not crowded, but nearly every table I could see was in the same condition—dishes cleared, but no tables cleaned.

For a place I’ve consistently enjoyed, this level of service and cleanliness was deeply disappointing. I hope management addresses this immediately, because this experience does not reflect the standards I’ve come to expect here. I will give the food 4 stars as I remember it as being good.

I have been coming to his place for years to hear the live music on Fridays, with complimentary buffet from 5 to 6 p.m. I learned of their $2 red beans and rice with fried chicken on Mondays and Thursdays. There we had beans and rice are so delicious, along with chicken for $2 you can’t go wrong. If you go on Thursday nights they have a live jazz band.

La Louisiana is a great place for food and live entertainment. The food was good and I enjoyed my meal and the entertainment, but the server was good, but the service was slow not enough staff. I still recommend people to visit this place the food is delicious.
