Absolutely appalled at the service that I, and my family, received tonight at west end. I have been a loyal customer since the days John Blue (my close friend) was DJing and I come weekly for good food, great music and a drink. I was a regular Westie die hard until tonight that is.
I regularly, I repeat, regularly, bring my daughter and nieces (with whom I have guardianship over) on weeknights due to the fact it isn’t busy at all, the food specials are great and there’s usually no live event happening . Which was the case tonight. The whole place was entirely empty other than me and my family. We usually order food, sit down, and we have a great time with never any issues, and we leave. But for some reason, tonight the bartender Brittney (with whom I’ve had a few bad experiences with outside of this) decided to impose her own made up cherry picked rules and had me and my family leave after paying almost a total of $100 dollars on food. I would like to speak with someone in management further regarding this matter as not only has west end lost mine and my family’s business, but you can be sure I will spread the word to others to spend their money elsewhere in downtown Sanford. She claimed she was the “only” manager of this establishment, which I know to be a lie, and she acted in such a way I couldn’t believe west end would hire someone like this. I tried to talk to her but she spoke down to me in such a manner I can’t believe she is still employed.
So, for anyone reading this and further reviews I will be posting on other platforms, if you want to be treated with human decency and fairness don’t go to west end. Celery city and throwbacks are much more worth your time, money, and business.

I came here last weekend when the west end trading company posted the Incubus,No Doubt and RedHot Chili Peppers tributes. This cool bar is located in a historical area.In Sanford. I googled the address and the building is 102 years old. Such history! The concert was beyond awesome, and so was my bartender, Sam. She makes wonderful cocktails! There’s a great vibe going on here.Come in if you want to feel it as well.

This is the first live bar been in outside of Gainesville, FL and I love it!! Welcoming live music, fun, great drinks and hot food fresh to order, vibrant and most importantly safe, they also provide a water fountain for when you need to rehydrate. 10/10 will come back again!!

Fun spot! Amazing, quick service- Amanda took amazing care of us! The wings were really good and great prices on beer. Nice selection of liquors, and live music! They host a ton of events too.

For a Saturday night I expected this place to be hopping! Nope it was dead. For their being so few people inside you would expect the bartenders and staff to be hyped up to hype up the people. Nope! So if you want some good food, decent cocktails and a quiet place to sit and talk this is it.

Love this place. Stopped in on Saturday afternoon for a beer. It was pretty busy but we got served immediately. Somehow they offer a $4 IPA on tap, so we got that. There was live music in the front, and they were setting up for a band in the back, and there’s a game room in the middle. There seemed to be plenty of servers during our entire stay. I’m sure we’re coming back.

I’ve been here a few times before with some friends and for the live music. It’s a good spot imo and worth checking out if.
Drinks weren’t bad at all. Plus the stage area is sweet. Didn’t have any issues either with the other Folk (sometimes some get rowdy, you know?) so all good there.
Lastly, they put up some pretty talented musicians. Last time I came by the Add Hawks were in town and I really enjoyed hearing them. Shared some pics of them in action; great band.
I didn’t have any food so can’t mention anything there. But, this is a solid spot to spend the night if you’re looking for something fun to do that’s pretty laid back.
