Another Panera that has been like a home to me—as they say, home is where the heart is! I’m always welcomed with great smiles and quick, friendly service, not to mention the awesome coffee and sweet and savory food! This is a sandwich worthy of adding to your favorites!!

My order was ready when I arrived, but I had to wait in line. Why is there no online order pickup area? Why order ahead if I’m going to have to wait in a line? When I told them I ordered online, they couldn’t find my physical order, so I had to wait even longer.
The workers didn’t seem to be enjoying their work- everyone seemed overworked, I think you need more man-hours available and more staff on hand.
I wanted to order broccoli cheddar soup, but it wasn’t available when I ordered. Please make your full menu available from open to close. You missed out on $20 in soup sales alone.
The entire front lobby floor was sticky and crusty, my shoes were sticking to the floor, and I had to wash the underside of my shoes. Disgusting. When I told the cashier that the floor needed cleaning and was sticky, she did say she would tell the manager, but who knows if that was ever addressed.
My cookies seemed too small for the prices you charge. Either reduce your prices, or increase the portion sizes. $3.40 including tax for a single cookie is outrageous- I had to order a “value 4-pack” to not feel like I was getting robbed. And $8.40-$9.40 for a bowl of soup is a ridiculously high price. Your pricing makes me not want to order from your stores.
Overall I was very displeased with my experience. Please do better with pricing, cleanliness and order ahead wait time, and help your employees enjoy their jobs more- don’t just tell them to act more happy, give them cause for joy somehow.

I’m embarrassed to say, this is the first time I’ve ever been to a Panera lol.
Wanted to try something different, a bit more healthy and gave them a try. I was very impressed with the green goddess chicken salad I chose a Pomegranate Hibiscus Ice Tea and I signed up for the unlimited sip club.
With the exception of it being a bit pricey for what you get, the food was fresh and tasty and a decent size portion.
Will definitely be back to try out more inviting menu options in the future. Fortunately there are some good coupons on the app to help offset the price.
Staff was very friendly at the drive through.

Panera is pretty consistent across most locations, and I’d say this South Lakeland one is fairly in that parameter for the most part.
I’ve done a lot of big group orders from here, for 15-17 people and they usually have everything ready and rarely have anything missing which is impressive.
There’s plenty of seating both inside and outside, and having the coffee club membership is worth it if you’d come here even once a month. I do like even just being a rewards member, as they give you a free item here and there and a free pastry on your birthday!

I ordered a soup broccoli and cheddar bowl nine dollars for a bowl. Soup was like water it’s supposed to be a bisque not a broth. The salad I had chicken added. It was almost like they took two bites of chicken and slithered it up the worst salad I’ve ever had $26 plus I had to tip them because they’re obviously not serving you. They’re just standing behind a counter collecting your money unbelievable run away from this place fast food joints are getting ridiculous and they’re treating you as if you’re a tourist give me a tourist portions first quality at a tourist price avoid it all costs.

Were not happy with panera we were not there in while its changed its dirty booth walls and dis colored seats at booth . The food not fresh . Soup tomato was not a fresh taste . Need to change expiration dates checked? This resturant has lack of help and servers no one person to clean after a meal .soup was on the floor never mopped up .this place needs go under an inspection by Fl health dept . We just don’t won’t people to get sick and have a good experience at this establishment .Last the drive in is in dangerous location no yellow safety warning lite and parking lot is too small you can get hit walking or driving in this area a review with a follow up needs to be enforced. This place needs close at this location too much traffic we will not go here in the future again

Didn’t snap any pics but the bread was exceptionally fresh for the bread bowls and the soups were perfect. The chilly weather we had the past few days called for Panera, and we were not disappointed. Also the staff that was bussing the dining area was pleasant and very quick to take care of their areas.

This isn’t a knock against this specific Panera but just Panera in general. If you spend $10 on a sandwich you expect to get something decent.
I looked at the tiny bit of mozzarella and thought something was off. The staff said you only get one slice of mozzarella per side. That’s almost robbery. $10 for 2 slices of mozzarella, tomatoes and lettuce? The only reason I got something on my sandwich is because I asked for extra tomatoes. I can no longer justify panera with their prices and sub par value.

Great soups and sandwiches! Pretty much our go to place for a later dinner and they’re pretty quick. The rustic potato soup and toasted chicken ciabatta sandwich is a favorite.

Update 6/24/2024 – Not surprised to be making another review. I went through the drive-thru today. Ordered a tuna sandwich, I asked the girl twice if the bread as changed due to all the new menu changes and she said no twice. Great. Got my food, opened it. Saw it was a different bread. No big deal, I go inside and ask for a refund. Nice interaction with the managers. This whole thing could’ve been avoided if there was training on tje new menu. I understand the staff has nothing to do with change, however it needs to be learned. Prices are too high to be taken lightly. Over $10 for one sandwich. No drink.
Came for a quick lunch on Sunday. I usually come to this location. Waited 10mins for someone to take my order. No big deal, order a bacon Turkey bravo. But my bacon was raw & the lettuce was unwashed with dirt on it. I’m very upset considering I spent $15 on this meal. Lobby was basically empty, only 3 tables were taken. They had about 5-6 people working. It’s now Tuesday an I’m sick from eating here. I will not be returning.
