Reviews
My wife and I frequent different places (mostly downtown Gilbert) looking for football games (with sound) but Zipps was recommended by a co-worker and man are we glad that we went!
First, atmosphere was perfect; definitely a sports bar vibe with a clean, spirited feeling. Not sure how many TVs but felt like 30+!
Second, the service?? Wow!!! Riley was especially nice and Michael was so helpful in picking out our food suggestions. We never waited and the food came out in a timely manner.
Third, the food (especially their wings) was some of the best we’ve ever had (even my wife that hates wings is now addicted).
Finally, even all of the customers were very friendly and talkative. The prices were certainly on par for what you get.
I’ve never recommended a business to this level but certainly well deserved! Thanks Riley and Michael!
We can’t wait to go back next week!

Had an amazing time at Zipp’s on Warner in Gilbert! The food was top-notch—I tried the Philly Focaccia, fish taco, corn dog appetizer, wings, pretzel, and both a peach and a strawberry Zipparita. Everything was excellent!
The atmosphere was perfect for watching March Madness. Got a great seat in the back corner to catch Kentucky vs. Illinois, and my son and I were intrigued by a mysterious door nearby that added a fun little curiosity to the night.
On top of that, I spotted a signed Whitey Ford Yankees jersey on the wall, which immediately made me think of Everlast’s Whitey Ford Sings the Blues—a cool little connection for music and sports fans alike.
Great food, great drinks, and a great vibe—definitely a 5-star experience!
Did the build your own burger with 1/2 fries and onion rings. The onion rings were really good and the fries reminded me of In-and-out burger.
Bartenders were really friendly and the prices were lower than Cold Beer and Cheeseburgers.
There were four of us, we gave her the full order. 3 of the 4 meals came out about 15 minutes later, brought by the expo who dropped the food and ran off. No mention about the 4th meal.
We waited 3-4 minutes than flagged down our server to ask about the missing food. She came back a few minutes later claiming they were waiting on the fries.
It was a full 10 minutes from the time the first three plates came until the fourth. In the meantime, we all sat with our food in front of us waiting.
I asked the server, “If it’s just the fries, why not bring the foccacia and then drop the fries later?” She had no response, except to assure us she placed the entire order with the kitchen.
I figured, surely they’ll just comp the emal for the hassle.
Nope.
But she was prompt with that $100+ bill.
There was a time this location would have a 30 minute wait on the weekends. That time is long gone and its pretty clear that bad service is the reason.
-Cocktails were good (2 bloody marys and 1 mimosa) and we also got soft drinks for 3 people
-Upon sitting our server took our drink and food order. We didn’t get our cocktails until we got our food. So we had to wait 30 minutes for anything. -Upon getting our food we asked for 3 sauces and requested we receive our soft drinks.
-It took 10 minutes to get our 2/3 sauces and then our drinks came 5 minutes after.
45 minutes after initially being seated.
After our drinks the third sauce finally came. A few times we had to ask another waitress for assistance because ours just was not on top of it. Not sure why because it didn’t seem busy at all. She took one of our drinks for a refill and never returned with it.
We ended up discussing with the manager and he gave us vouchers for our next visit. We will try again and if service is better next time I will update this review. Still no sign of our last drink by the time we left. We love Zipps Scottsdale location so we tried this one and our first impression was not so good. Hopefully next time will be redemption.
1. Bartenders short pour on high end alcohol and pour heavier on well alcohol also they overpoor on the customers at the bar top itself. Fries and onion rings are lukewarm at best but the burger was cooked to my specifications. Hence the 2 stars and not a 1 star. The mgr was ineffective when concerns and observations were brought to his attention. After relaying observations to him all he said was I trust my Bartenders. Only here because friends wanted to try it out again.
The food experience was really awful and food was not prepared right and the meats were not cooked properly. I definitely think that Kitchen should step up their game with cooking meats, especially chicken.
