Came into eat dinner at 8:05 left by 8:30! FAST FAST FAST! Atmosphere was amazing! Food was amazing! Chips and salsa when seated. I had a Taco Salad, very basic I know. But still very yummy. They had some type of Margaritas special, in a small cup. Could have been stronger lol but hey, they were still good! This was my husband’s and I first time here! We will be back! Thank you!!

Employees don’t speak English! Order beef nachos with only beef and white queso. Got beef nachos with beans and shredded cheese. Went back and they messed up the order again. Ended up with a cup of queso and chips. Never come here!

Had a great waitress. Had a great time there in general except for when I’m guessing the general manager? Came out to address me about my allergy. He said it in a way that was super disrespectful and very off putting. But I brushed it off enjoyed my food, and my pregnant wife is happy now. Everything was great except that one thing. Overall great job.

El Tap is a fun place to eat. Waitresses are very friendly and helpful. Food arrives quickly and is always delicious. Best salsa & chips in town.

I frequent this establishment for lunches often with my wife. Food is always great. Salsa and chips are top tier (and free). I have never had a bad meal. For lunches, I love the Flautas, about $9. Last time I was there, we arrived about at 12:49pm and food was hot and at our table at 1:03pm. Talk about quick! Fabulous as always, no complaints at all.

The food was great and the service was outstanding. We had the Birria Tacos and the Cochinita Pibil. The sevice was fast and efficient! We will definitely come back when visiting Missouri!!

I ordered the Sancho burrito and wasnt impressed with it, when i got my food it was luke warm and the flavor was just ok. I ate half of it and took the rest of it and fed it to my outdoor cats. Girlfriend thought her food was like mine, just ok and room temp. The service was really good and so was the atmosphere

El Tapatio is a solid Mexican meal for the area. We had the Enmoladas (chicken enchiladas with mole sauce) and the Tres combination (chile releno, cheese enchilada, and beef taco). Nearly everything was tasty. I was surprised to have a mole option on the menu, and wish it was more popular. I could really go for mole negro, but I do like the earthy mole poblano with chicken. Tapatio’s mole did not disappoint.
They use real cheese, not cheese sauce, over their items, which is nice. Too many places in the area save time with cheese sauces over all their dishes, where real cheese could be better. While there is a time for a cheese sauce, it doesn’t fit every dish, and ends up being a soup. MO seems to do this on their sandwiches quite a bit as well, so it is probably a regional thing.
Shared a pitcher of margaritas this visit. They were a little on the Gatorade side, but not bad. Rice was better during our most recent visit. I had the Chochinta Pibil, and highly recommend it!

We were quickly seated, plenty of chips and salsa and better yet, we never asked for a refill.. the drinks, salsa and chips were plentiful. A fine selection of vegetarian options and make sure to save room for dessert

Amazing. Food was delicious. Service was impeccable. Our server, Pedro, was attentive and on top of all our needs. Start with the salsas…..I always ask for a salsa Verde,he asked if I would also like some of the hot, I said sure, why not!! Salsa Verde, while it was a bit thinner than I normally like, the flavor was wonderful. Now to the spicy, while it lit my tongue on fire, it had flavor vs some hot sauces that just.burn everything numb and that’s it. When my food arrived, I couldn’t eat it fast enough. I got the molcajeta, since I have had it other places….I was not disappointed one bit. My buddy got the Tornado, and it smelled wonderful….my daughter was basic and got street tacos, and she loved them. I would recommend this place to anyone. We aren’t from Sedalia, but can see us going back to visit El Tapatio again.
