Why was my 10-year-old was begging me to go to Lee’s for a week?? Who knows, he probably saw something on YouTube. Anyways – last night I said let’s go.
Although there was a big line for the drive through, the interior was pretty quiet. We could have ordered immediately, but I told them “this is my son’s first time at a Lee’s, so he’s gonna have to figure out what to get.”
He was instantly the VIP in the restaurant. The people working there told him all about his options. A cook came out and warned him that the dippers were a little spicy… good move, saved the day. They encouraged him to have fun with the pop-a-shot in the dining room.
The food was great and now Lee’s is his “favorite chicken place”. This is why DoorDash will never be the same as hitting a brick-and-mortar; the people make all the difference. Appreciate it – from my and my son to the whole crew last night.

Chicken was uncooked only figure it out after my son brought me what he had already ate this isn’t the first time I’ve been here and had this happen check your food before eating it. Let’s hope we don’t get food poisoning

I ordered their three-piece jumbo strips combo meal and everything was dry and brittle. I honestly feel like it might have been from the day before. I usually love this place but this is probably my last time if some type of redemption is not made. I took a bite of each item to verify that it was stale as I suspected and and I then proceeded to throw it in the trash after I took this picture.

I decided to stop at this location this past Wednesday. I quickly remembered why I quit coming here. I pull up to pay for my order and was told it would be around a 7 minute wait for the spicy chicken. (I had already paid) I was asked to park and my food would be brought out. After close to 20 minutes I get out of my car to go inside and the worker was walking out the door with my order. Okay fine, I’m going to get home and have fresh hot food…. WRONG! Luke warm chicken and cold sides. Don’t bother with this location if you want hot food.

You call these livers, they almost feel wet from how soggy and old they were smh. I specifically asked for crispy dippers and they cheated me on the livers you can see how they are stuck together so gross very unappetizing sad part they were slow dead as can be, I see why

Best lees in the area! Food always tastes fresh and never soggy. Others in the area I have gotten soggy chicken and soggy wedges, which is not tasty at all. Staff is always friendly. Erica is probably my favorite! Always lookin out for her customers!
