Very friendly atmosphere, service was great. I had the Alaskan white fish, fries, hush puppies and a garden salad. It was really good. My husband had the sirloin tips, country potatoes and corn that he enjoyed. We also shared some fried mushrooms. Everything was really good. We have been twice and will go back.

We will definitely be back! We had some morning business in Morristown, so looked for a spot to have breakfast. We decided to try Davy Crocket. We were extremely pleased. The server was attentive and the decor was “country charm” but the food was amazing. Usually a breakfast out is pretty consistent from place to place and it’s usually pretty good. Here, I highly recommend the breakfast potatoes because they’re so good I’m going to dream about them! I also loved the toast, which sounds weird but it was like skillet toast rather than toaster toast. I would say it’s like Texas toast, but to me that implies the bigger thick bread. This was just regular bread (I chose wheat toast) but it’s yummy. I had the Western omelette, which was good. My husband had eggs, sausage, potatoes, and a pancake (substituted for b&g or toast). I had coffee and the top offs were just at the right time. We will definitely come back here whenever we’re in town and need a meal.

This was our first time eating at Davy Crockett Restaurant. It couldn’t have been more perfect! We were so pleased with the whole experience. My husband and I both had the daily special for Thursday which is turkey and gravy, two sides (I had mashed potatoes and green beans. He had mashed potatoes and fried okra), a roll or cornbread (we both had cornbread), and dressing. I never eat dressing. My husband ate his and said it was just ok. But he says that to anything that isn’t amazing with three exclamation points. He also got apple cobbler. The total bill for both of us was just slightly more than we pay at other places for just one of us! Yes, we were very pleased and will definitely go back! Almost forgot to mention that the atmosphere, service and cleanliness were also top notch!

Coffee is not hot, and waitress keeps overfilling my cup. Food is about the same temperature. Pretty good overall but warmer, please?
11/26/25 We came back, as this is now a local restaurant to us. Food was hot, service was slow (only 3 waitresses and it was pretty busy), everything tasted good and I could better appreciate the low price.

Never been here before. We were looking for a place for lunch in Morristown. Drove by and the parking lot was full which is always a good sign!! Lunch was excellent! 4 of us…Ribleye steak sandwich, Philly beef cheese steak sandwich, chopped sirloin with peppers n onions and fries, fried okra and onion rings, catfish plate with real mashed potatoes, corn and a roll. Everything was good! Onion rings were outstanding! Service is good, place is clean, bright, airy. Definitely a great locals place. Definitely will eat here again.

Food was just okay….. the salad was actually good & cold. The grilled chicken was WAY overcooked. The banana pudding wasn’t homemade. But my service was good. And I’ll go back again at some point. It was hit & miss for me today. I’ll try something different next time.

I’d eaten here before and it was pretty good, just a good small town dinner. However, last week I went in with a friend and it was terrible. My omelet was ok just overcooked. My friend got a pork tenderloin, expecting a pretty big portion like most places that serve that. What came out was a tiny piece of pork barely as big around as a baseball and about 1/4″ thick also overcooked. The sausage gravy was disgusting, just tasted like grease. I dont what they’re doing here but they need to get their stuff together or they’re going to go out of business.
