Felipe’s Mexican is a great local gem I always enjoy visiting in Wichita. The beef enchiladas are consistently delicious—definitely a favorite! Friendly staff, warm atmosphere, and a solid menu make it a go-to spot for a tasty Mexican meal. The chips and salsa are always great. Will be back next time!!

I typically love this restaurant but it could have been better this time. The beef taco meat flavor was delicious but it was way overstuffed and fell apart. The beans were too wet and made the tostada and burrito soggy. The cheese enchilada had the best flavor and consistency. Next time I’m going for the enchilada dinner. Definitely worth going to but maybe a little QC is in order. My son really enjoyed the chimichangas.

The cookies at the register are the BEST, ask Jimmy (with a Y) to get some honey and whipped cream to dip them in. The drinks are very tasty and Jimmy keeps the service coming as fast as you need it. We’ve had a VERY good experience here today and would recommend 100%.

We recently visited this small, local Mexican restaurant with a large group of 20 people. First off, the food was fantastic—especially the enchiladas. You can tell they put care into their recipes, and the flavors really stood out.
That said, the experience was a bit mixed. While the staff did their best to accommodate our large group, it was clear they were understaffed that day. Service was slow, and some orders took quite a while to come out. To their credit, they acknowledged the delays and took a few meals off the bill, which we appreciated.
All in all, we’d come back for the food, but if you’re planning to visit with a large group, have some patience. This place clearly has heart, and with a little more support on the service side, it could be a real gem.

We had such a wonderful experience at Felipe’s. I have been coming to Felipe’s since I was about 5 years old and I can say that our server Jimmy created such an experience and atmosphere unlike anything else. He was so personable, kind, and made us feel like we were just hanging with friends. He also works at the far West location for any Wichitans looking out that way! Thank you Jimmy and thank you to the Felipe family to continuing to serve Wichita.

I ordered the tacos. They’re fried. Came out soggy and wayyyy too full of the most un appetizing ground meat filling. When i tell you the smell of this meat was so off. Rice and beans were alright. Took like three bites and just left the rest. Also the chips were stale and had a bad flavor. Salsa was not my favorite. Not coming back
