I came for the $6 deal. Not offering it after 10 pm. Really disappointed. There was a long black hair in my food. The IHOP ads state that the $6 deal was all day every day (some places are $7 which is fine). The “manager” stated that they stop the deal at 10 PM which is not documented anywhere. They did replace the food due to the hair and comped my part of our meal. The server was nice however none of the staff were “friendly” as I have experienced in multiple other restaurants. Overall, if this is the experience I would avoid this IHOP. I have had great experiences in other IHOP restaurants just not this one. The cost per person without the deal is very high for what you get. The person I dined with noted that it was very little food for the cost.

Thanks to Chris, our server! He was an excellent host. The man handled what seemed like 35 people while we came in. With a fantastic attitude Chris demonstrated a level of professionalism I have not seen in a long time.

Formal Complaint: Unauthorized Tip Alteration (Server) and Poor Service (Gift Card)
Dear Management Team,
I am writing to formally express my extreme dissatisfaction with the experience my wife and I had at your restaurant this morning (January 16, 2026) between 9:30 AM and 10:50 AM. This was a highly distressing visit, and it may very well be our last time dining at iHOP.
Specifically, I would like to report a severe issue regarding an untrustworthy server and a problematic gift card redemption process.
After our meal, the total came to approximately $46. I informed the server that I would be paying with a digital gift card and intended to leave a $7 tip. When I presented the barcode on my phone for scanning, he claimed he could not scan it and insisted that I go to the cashier to have the number manually entered by someone else. This was highly counterintuitive, as the purpose of a barcode is to be scanned.
At the cashier, the staff there informed me that only our designated server could process the payment. After waiting for our server to arrive at the cashier, he began the transaction and asked provocatively, “$10 tip, right?” I felt very uncomfortable as it seemed like a deliberate attempt to overcharge me. I clearly and firmly responded again, “No, it is $7.” I left the restaurant assuming he had followed my explicit instructions.
To my absolute shock, I discovered upon returning home that $10 was deducted for the tip instead of the $7 I authorized.
It is not my fault to make you in trouble to input gift card numbers one by one manually, you should complain to your company, not your guest.
This is not about the $3 difference; it is about the principle and the lack of integrity. Charging an unauthorized amount after being explicitly told otherwise is a form of theft. I am appalled that a staff member would dare to do this. This act is unacceptable and has left me so frustrated that I have considered seeking legal advice.
I have attached the receipt of the gift card transaction for your reference (please see the final entry). If your establishment has surveillance cameras with audio recording at the cashier, I urge you to review the footage from this morning. It will clearly show the server “playing dumb” about the $10 tip and my clear verbal confirmation of $7.
I expect a formal response regarding how you intend to handle this matter and what disciplinary actions will be taken to address this server’s conduct.

My daughter and I ordered 2 banana Foster French Toast to go. When we got home and we’re getting our food ready we we’re not very happy with the portion size of the toppings for the french toast. For two extremely large pieces of French toast, we received no whipped cream, about four slices of bananas, and the sauce cup was 1/4 inch full. This was not enough for one slice, and each order had two slices. When I called IHOP, the employee I spoke with told me that the topping portions were exactly the size they were supposed to be because they weigh them so they’re always the same size. I attached pictures of our orders and the pictures of the banana Foster French toast on their menu and NOT EVEN CLOSE CHRIS!! Very disappointed with the food and how it was handled by IHOP.

I want a compliment you on your food this has been a staple all around the world nobody pancakes are better than you all’s and these pancakes that I had today they were the center cinnamon rolls they call them something else but they taste like cinnamon rolls those are the best pancakes I have ever in my life had and you guys make the best omelets I had a Colorado omelette and I had the cinnamon roll pancakes or whatever you call them delicious I cleaned that plate so quick I love y’all food I love y’all service I love y’all prices

The service is always so fast whenever I come here! I recently visited again and our server Carlos was amazing. He was amazingly kind and friendly and very hard-working. I’m currently learning a new language and he let me practice speaking with him! He was very patient and understanding and made my recent IHOP experience a welcoming one. Although I’ve been to this IHOP location hundreds of times, Carlos made this visit unforgettable. I’ll never forget the kindness met us with. He’s amazing!
