Went to two different locations in Florida, one in North Port and one in Port Charlotte and I always make it a point to eat at the Waffle House at least one time during our vacation. Wish we had one in the Buffalo NY area but one thing I know for sure I will always seek one out no matter where we go down south . Love them.

Everything about my visit was great — the restaurant was spotless, the atmosphere was friendly, and the whole team had such positive energy.
Wes, the cook, was absolutely amazing! Not only was the food cooked perfectly, but he has such an incredible personality. You can tell he truly loves his job, and it really shows in the way he interacts with customers and takes pride in his work. Sarah, my waitress, was so attentive and kind, always checking in to make sure I had everything I needed. And Zach, who I’ve had as a waiter before, continues to be outstanding — always friendly and professional.
It’s rare to find a Waffle House that’s this clean and has such a great team. Huge thanks to everyone working that day — you all made my visit a 10/10 experience!

Ok, so I’ve eaten at 100’s of waffle houses and never experienced this kind of excellence. Place was packed and now I understand why. It is run like a well oiled machine. From the hawk eyed district manager expediting orders, instantly clean tables, expert cooking team to our ray of sunshine server, Jane. You could easily see them in a 5 star restaurant. Every manager should be trained here to learn how to be so successful!

I was there Christmas Eve and couldn’t believe how friendly and cheerful the employees were, they made me feel like they were actually happy to have customers. If I’m in the area again I will make a point of eating there again. Also my food was ready extremely quick. Again, I will be a repeat customer if I’m over that way.

Thanks for being open on Thanksgiving. Much better than a 2 hour wait at Cracker Barrel. When I say it’s freezing and I’m wearing a sweater the waiter’s response should not be “The chefs like it that way.” The waiter needs to know where the thermostat is and have the authority to change it. Two other customers said the same thing about the temperature when we were there. The food was great as usual.
