A solid, regular Tex-Mex spot that does exactly what you expect it to do. The food was good — flavorful, well-portioned, and satisfying without trying to reinvent anything. It’s the kind of place where you can count on your favorites tasting the way they should.

This place was awesome, from the atmosphere to the service. The food was fast and so delicious. Our party of five, never had to ask for service, as the staff was very attentive and friendly too. We left feeling pleased and very satisfied.

First off the waiter was so nice so there’s that. However the food was legit disgusting. I ordered mahi tacos. The point of ordering tacos is that when they arrive they are already put together, otherwise why wouldn’t you just order fajitas? But no, I get deconstructed tacos which the menu doesn’t state. The fish was tough and chewy like baked tofu, the beans were literally the worst thing I put in my mouth (akin to tar or burnt rubber), the chips were over salted, and the salsa was like jarred marinara. It was wild how bad the food was.

I took one bite and that’s it. Horrible! I ordered the naked burrito (no tortilla) and the fishy tasting/smelling chicken was so much of a turn off, I ordered my check immediately and left. This restaurant is not even trying to make good tasting food. Don’t waste your time or money.

My favorite place to eat in downtown Anoka. Outdoor table service. Marvelous veggie burrito. Secret, quiet seating at a couple of tables out back in the alley – accessible via the hallway that leads to the restrooms. They will make you anything on the menu for takeout.

Wife and I have been going here since they opened and they’ve upped their game lately. Staying open later on the weekends, some fun, low key, live music after the “normal” dinning hours. Food is always good. As far as people having service issues, I’d be surprised if any problems aren’t isolated and no worse than any other restaurant.

Have enjoyed many lunches here. Today when we went here (11/13/25)we asked for music from speaker to be turned down so we could visit. We were asked to move to the back of the restaurant where it is “quieter”. We were not alone –another party was asked to do the same rather than turn down the music. In this economy I cannot believe the owner would not want to provide a better atmosphere for its patrons.

We sat ourselves when we went in. The inside has a lot to look at, but next time I’ll go for their patio seating. We had ordered a steak chimichanga and the naked burrito. The chimichanga was delicious. The naked burrito came with so much food that I was able to make three meals out of it. It was worth the price and was delicious. I’ll be coming back to try some of the others things I was interested in. They also seem to have a taco buffet for anyone interested.
