At Red Crab Juicy Seafood– customers can make their own seafood combo. All you have to do is choose any ½ LB (minimum two items) and there you go! You are served corn and potato with it. This offer has a selection of blue crab, shrimp, snow crab legs, crawfish, clams, green mussel, black mussel, and sausage. Everything is reasonably priced in a warm and friendly atmosphere. One of our friends is leaving NYC before the 2025 mayoral election. (I won’t get into politics) So we went here as a send off dinner. The restaurant was cheerfully decorated for Halloween & our server was fantastic. The food was delicious. We tried many appetizers including hush puppies, crab bites, onion rings & crab fries with yum yum sauce. For my main I went with a spicy shrimp rice dish. Don’t worry the sauce comes on the side so you can control the level of spicy ness to your liking. I also went with the lobster bisque soup which was good as well. There is a nice size bar at the back of the restaurant & an outdoor area for nicer weather. There’s a nice selection of dishes on the menu & I can’t wait to go back to try another.

This is always a great spot to go for a seafood boil..and deliciously tasty food. The atmosphere is always live with music, drinks and bar area be poppin! I love this spot but sometimes its really busy which slows the waiters down.

Customer service was severely lacking. We arrived about 3pm for a late birthday lunch. We sat in the bar area the music was great, the restaurant clean, we were the first table. The bartender wasn’t welcoming but wasn’t straight rude. More like “what do you want?” Not a smile, nothing. We ordered food and drinks came out as ordered. About 4pm while we’re deep into eating cracking crab legs the bartender does NOT ask how is everything she just starts to want to clear the table. No conversation, nothing, mind you there were three other small groups like ours. I’d understand if it were getting busy but the restaurant was still empty front and back (and was still empty when we left at 5pm). We said “we were still eating and and we were good.” We were almost done the birthday girl had put some leftovers to the side to take home. We move to take a pic, drinks and appetizers still on the table. Once again bartender doesn’t ask anything but she clears the table of everything. Communication is always key but she was more OCD (speaking seemed to be a task for her). A simple “are you ladies done, can I clear your table” but NOPE. When she was told we weren’t done, there was no apology, she said “it was only a couple pieces of chicken.” The dismissiveness was the point. The manager bought my friend a dry chicken wing. No real apology. After spending $250 for lunch, we were obviously not valued customers. And since customer service is not necessary in this establishment we’ll go down the street to the Italian restaurant San Remos or across the street to the diner where good coustomer service is still practiced.

The food is great, their crab options are good. It does get packed and parking can be hard during high traffic times. Servers are sometimes stretched due to amount of people they have to serve. It can get very loud and like a party atmosphere in the evenings sometimes, which makes it not very family friendly. I usually get to go just cause dining in can get crazy sometimes.

The place itself is pretty big, with a lot of seating and a decent vibe, but unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to expectations. I tried the shrimp po’ boy, and while it tasted good, it wasn’t filling at all. There just wasn’t enough shrimp in it — more bread than anything else. On the bright side, the fries were solid.
I also ordered a seafood boil, which I’ll admit was flavorful but the portion was disappointingly small. It felt more like a kid’s meal, even though it was priced like a full entrée.
Overall, not somewhere I’d rush back to — unless they had a buy one, get one free entrée deal. Then maybe I’d give it another shot.

Dropped in for Happy Hour deals which were amazing! The drinks were strong and tasted great!! Our bartender/waitress was on top of everything and we enjoyed our time at the bar. The music playlist was really good too which made the experience better- not to mention the tasty boil. Definitely a spot to visit on the weekends for the vibes!

Though the food looks basic, it was actually quite delicious. The crab legs and lobster were sweet. The New England clam chowder wasn’t too bad either. It wasn’t overly salty and had a good balance of potatoes and clam. The shrimp avocado salad came with cabbage, which I should’ve known but was still surprised. It gave it a nice crunch and went well with the avocado and shrimp. There was shredded lobster meat in the salad, which gave it a sweet taste. The catfish from the children’s menu was quite good. Not too much batter. The fried shrimp basket came with Cajun fries. It wasn’t too bad, but definitely didn’t have as much shrimp as I would’ve liked. Maybe go with the onion rings for an extra dollar instead of Cajun fries. I really wanted to try a frozen drink and they made mojitos but no frozen drinks were being served when I went. The price was moderate but the service was great. Our waitress was attentive and always kept open communication, which I always appreciate.

The experience here is subpar. Food and drinks severely overpriced for an experience that is very lack luster. I didn’t wanna believe the hype, but if you go eat here and look at those corners. THERE ARE MICE HERE. For a place that charges almost 30 on a Wednesday for a rum punch, I’d feel that the exterminator is of affordability. The calamari was good here 5 years ago. Nle everything taste old and dry. Wouldn’t return.
