As of 10/30/25 this is the best Mexican restaurant in the area. It’s the most authentic food with a very cool atmosphere. Again for this area. I had the Enchiladas Locas which was decent. It came hot but wish it was with a little more sauce and little less salt. See picture. Love the oversized beers!

DAN banfill
I tried to order a regular wet burrito with just beef and cheese light lettuce. Cheese all on top. Like a place in grand rapids. The meat was very flavorful. But was very disappointed when it came out. Wish I could have use chips with every bite.

I have been underwhelmed every time I’ve been here. I think this was my last time.
We were seated quickly. We ordered margaritas ($10 each for a house margarita!). The chips and salsa were very good. The chips were hot and the salsa had the perfect spice level.
Unfortunately, that’s where the good ended. The food was less than okay. The “burrito” was plain ground beef in a tortilla with sauce and cheese. There was nothing else in it. No beans, no pico, no rice, no seasoning,
The taco was covered in shredded processed cheese food (think loaf “cheese” or American “cheese”) It was the exact same flavorless meat as the burrito.
My lunch combination (#8) did not come with rice or beans. It was a taco, a burrito, and a pile of lettuce with sour cream, tomatoes and more fake cheese.
We had to flag down our server to get the bill (I think there was only one other table being served at the time. They definitely weren’t busy.)
The bathroom was so cold, I was afraid I was going to freeze to the seat.
10/10 would recommend finding a different place to eat. This was not cheap, nor good.

The first time my husband and I came here it was excellent service, food and atmosphere. The waiter the first time did his job and was excellent. Photos are from the first visit. I would give the first waiter a 5 stars. The house Margarita was awesome! The burritos were great with the side of rice.
The second visit the girl at the front was laughing and acting unprofessional with our waiter. The waiter didn’t ask if I wanted flour tortillas instead of corn with carne asada. My stomach cannot digest corn tortillas so I never eat corn or corn tortillas. I didn’t want to complain so I just ate it. I spent 3 days in bed from stomach pains. I took the third carne asada taco home but threw it away. Even though we tipped well it wasn’t deserved on this second visit.

Friendly and fast service. Food was hot and came out quickly. Chips and salsa were good. I had the fajita burrito and it was very good. They have a large menu with lots of options. Great stop when in Hastings.

Steak Fajita quesadilla was very tasty and my go to here. However it was a bit cold served this time. The strawberry frozen margarita was just ok lacked a specialty taste so I wouldn’t order again. Our waiter was super marginal, he seemed like a nice guy and the language/communication wasn’t the issue. He had taken some of our orders wrong and forgot to ask about like if we needed anything or how it was and just walked away. Also my grandma called ahead and placed a reservation for 10-14 people yesterday and by the time we got there despite the restaurant being empty they still didn’t have a table big enough for us. So we had to break up our party with half of us on a booth and half across the aisles. Kinda weird. Not sure if it was just a meh visit or what was off today. The female staff that we usually get are very nice and attentive.

God I love goin here. I take my fiance all the time and we always get the *BIG* margarita and split it.
As far as food goes: If you like seasoned rice, refried beans, and seasoned meats with tortillas you should definitely come here.

Excellent food! Might have been a bit understaffed, because we had to wait a little bit longer than usual at similar restaurants for our food, but it was well worth the wait! I had the carnitas mexicanas, which were simply incredible. They were cooked to perfection, so tender that they fell apart when I poked them with my fork. My wife also had the flautas which were pretty good too! Highly recommend.
