Uncle’s Fish Market Bar & Grill was a nice, relaxed stop for us. When we walked in, it wasn’t very crowded, which made the atmosphere feel calm and laid back.
We ordered the ahi trio as an appetizer, and it was really good, a great way to start the meal. Our food did take about 30 minutes to come out, but we didn’t mind too much since we had a couple of drinks while waiting.
Speaking of drinks… they were strong (I forgot the exact names, but they definitely did the job). Overall, good food, solid drinks, and a chill vibe. Worth checking out if you’re in the area and not in a rush.

I wish I could have given Minus 1 rating to this place.
Quality of Food: The fish was stale. I returned back the entire dish and the chefs didn’t even fight back.
Service: The server was snickering at us as we walked out.
Ambience: Adding replicas of fish won’t help.
Value for money: Absolutely not.
Finally, I understood why such a big place had customers on only two tables (including ours)!

Overpriced, overcooked, underseasoned. Absolutely no reason to visit this restaurant. Husband got fish tacos (blackened). No spice, DRY, no salt. I got the chicken sandwich. $28 for the world’s smallest chicken breast. The wasabi was nonexistent, as was the salt. So overcooked I couldn’t finish. Poor chicken died in vain. The entire sandwich was worth probably $3 in materials. And I’m being generous. Save yourself the expense and go somewhere else.

Very underwhelming first experience. First off, we were charged $4.00 for a soda water out of the bar tap (I will gladly pay for bottled sparkling) and $2.00 for sauce. A quick heads up of “We do have that but it is an extra $xx” would be very much appreciated. No heads up for the up charge is poor form imo.
Prices were quite high and not worth it. I understand we’re in Hawaii but for mall based restaurant, the prices seemed out of place…pretty rough mate.
Brandon was polite and prompt, it would have been great to know the cost of add’l items before the bill comes.

I come to Oahu every year, this is my first time here. Came to Uncles for a business dinner. It was great from start to finish. Great service, great apps, great entrees, great desert! I’ll definitely visit again when I come to Oahu. I had the ahi sashimi app, shrimp & chips entree and coffee crème brûlée they were perfect and delicious.

Upon arrival staff was friendly. After our server took our food and drink order things started to decline quickly. Was our first time there. My friend received their beer like 5 minutes after ordering as for my spicy margarita it took even longer. After the bartender delivered my cocktail our server never came back until she brought our food. She asked if there was anything else she could get us. At the moment we weren’t sure and she said she would be right back. Never once did she come back. I ordered the pasta with clams in a white wine sauce. It was under cooked pasta and the sauce was so liquid like it wouldn’t stick to the pasta. Was raw pasta no taste unless you spooned up sauce separately. I needed a plate for shells. I had to just put them on our table. Couldn’t even eat it all. Bread stick was horrible. My friend had the grilled Ahi. That was bland and lacked any kind of seasoning. Service was horrible! Restaurant wasn’t even busy on a Sunday night. I can understand why. Super over priced for food that had no flavor and no service.

We stopped in for lunch wanted to try some local seafood. We had the butter fish and a BLT sandwich with crab meat. Both dishes tasted decent, but serving size was small compared with other eateries here in Oahu. The prices were surprisingly high compared to Waikiki especially for a restaurant in a mid-level mall. The service was friendly and good.

Thinking for the price it’ll be good but was wrong. Me and family was the first here and made reservation 3 weeks ago from today! and had to wait for our food. One of my family members never had their food till the rest the family finished. (Shake my head) Chefs made mistakes on my food. 1st found hair in the pasta. Then server came back to ask where it is (completely understand why the server asked but these chefs should double trippier check there dishes before giving it to the server.) came back after she asked and gave me a different food and then they got it right but forgot my bread for the pricing and small portions payed $167. Uncle gotta check on your chefs $45 for the photo below (unbelievable)

Overpriced!!! $28 for fish and chips – and they weren’t even that good! Also do not allow substitutions even with a price difference – charged an extra fee for salad dressing. Over a hundred dollars for two orders of fish and chips a side salad and a two drinks. Nuts! Word must be out that it’s crappy overpriced food because it was dead in there. One other table seated – we should have believed the reviews but we didn’t :(.
