We started with the shrimp and grits cakes which we shared with our table and wished we had been more selfish.
Wife and I both had ribeye…rare plus which was a perfect medium rare and wonderful flavor. She had the roasted veggies which were great, and though I know this sounds strange… I had the best loaded bake potato I have ever eaten. Our server, Mary, was great as well with spot on recommendations and excellent service. The wait of just under 30 minutes was not bad either for our group of 6 on a late Saturday afternoon.
Looking forward to the next trip to Cave Springs!
We spent only $100 for 5 people (only food without drinks)
The only small disappointment was related to the Christmas parade. We were stuck across the street due to road closures, so I called ahead to ask if I could put my name on the waitlist while we waited for the parade to pass. Unfortunately, I was told that wasn’t permitted. At the time, we were quoted about a two-hour wait.
Luckily, when we finally made it over, there were only a couple of people seated at the bar, so we were able to sit there instead—and thankfully still enjoy an excellent meal.
I truly love this place and will continue to come back. I just wish they would consider allowing waitlist sign-ups or reservations in situations like this, especially during busy community events. Overall, still a great experience and fantastic food.

Hostess greets and seats us. Inside is beautiful. Exposed brick, bar in the corner. Very well done. Waiter comes to the table very quickly takes our drink order ask if we would like an appetizer. *We passed on that. Wanted to keep room for the steak we have heard so much about.
Ask the waiter what steak we should go for, being this was our first time. He advise “correctly” they really were all amazing but most people get the Ribeye or Prime Rib. So I order the Ribeye and my daughter order the strip. I would say it took around 20 minutes or so to get the food. No problem there. The steak. Just wow. Absolutely by far one of the best steaks I have ever had. Cooked perfect. Moist, Tender and so flavorful. My daughters strip was the same. In fact I have never seen anyone cook a strip so perfect. By nature its not the best cut of meat but these guys made it so.
Sides were Loaded mash potatoes, French fry’s, broccoli, cheese grits. The sides themselves were okay, adequate. Not the best, not the worst. The steak is the star of the show here.
Only thing I would say that kind of perplexed me about the evening was that there was at minimum four to five tables that stayed empty the entire evening while people waited in the lobby. Could be a staffing issue? Also the hostess a young lady with blond hair would consistently walk into the dinning area and scan the room. She never approached a table or asked anyone how their meal was, she kept popping in and out. As we enjoyed our meal, we just started to count how many times she came in and before we left we were up to 37 times.
In any case who knows maybe that is what she is supposed to do. But at the least I would say make the most of it and just go ask the patrons how their food is, if your going to continue making those maneuver’s. *Its slightly distracting to the meal.
So to sum it up if you just want to have a fantastic steak in a beautiful setting, in a beautiful little town, this is the place. Only thing I’m upset about is that I haven’t been here before.
