I had the nachos and they were rly yummy!!! HUGE platter and AMAZING quality.
I’m pretty sure they make their own guac.
The salsa is a bit spicy, and there are quite a few jalapeños on the nachos- so if you’re not into the spice life be sure to ask for no jalapeños.
Service was slow, but it was a Wednesday around 6-630. So I guess it’s typical. There was a hostess/bartender that was getting some SERIOUS steps in.

Station 280 has great food and great service. It is a big open space with a large double bar in the center. There are high top tables on one end of the space, and booths along one wall. There are several large TVs on the walls for watching sports and events.
Having been there several times, it’s quickly become a favorite place to get a very good cheeseburger and fries. The tots are very good as well, hot and crispy, just like the fries. They have a large menu beyond the cheeseburgers, but I just haven’t tried it yet. I’m sure it is very good as well. The service has consistently been good, typically handled by bartenders who very gifted at multitasking. I highly recommend giving Station 280 a try, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Love station 280!
-2 for 1 on everything (pretty sure)
-Wonderful service every time, from all staff members.
-great food, always fast regardless of how busy
-lots of tap options! Always has seasonals
-TV’s all over, best quality speakers I’ve ever heard in a restaurant.
-If there is a big game or event you’re trying to watch defs recommend getting there a bit early. It’s a hot spot.

Quite a chill place. Very nice if you’d like to grab a booth and mind your own business or to sit at the bar and watch some TV. Although there’s only one bartender, she took orders fairly quick and the food didn’t take long for us on a Monday evening.

We took advantage of the Monday burger special. The website says half off but in store it’s only $4 off. Huge burger, though, and the fries are nicely spiced.

Two for one drinks are the best.

Great chill bar atmosphere with friendly and caring staff. The nachos are an amazing portion size with enough to share with multiple people! The cheese curds (and BBQ wings) are also an amazing choice 🙂 Good parking options in the parking lot and overall convenient location in Minneapolis.

Their pizza is consistently terrible, the rest of the food is mid. Drinks are always 2-for-1s, but are up-priced accordingly. Seems to always be at least one over-served and troublesome customer around at any given time. Decent sports bar when it’s not too busy but gets extremely loud at peak times due to large echo-ey open layout.

Great dive bar close to the Gopher stadium with great food and drink specials.

Most bars either have cheap drinks and crappy frozen pizza, or good food and $15 – $20 drinks. This place is the exception! 2 for 1 drinks that run around $8, and food that always tastes fresh with a great variety of options from standard deep fried bar fare to salads and a great walleye dinner. And when it’s not crazy busy (so not at night on the weekends) the service is amazing. I emptied my beer while writing this review, and when I looked up a fresh one was waiting for me. This is truly a hidden gem in Saint Paul. Everyone should try Station 280 at least once!

Food was great! The waitress was ok but it seems she was the only waitress so she had a lot on her plate. So it’s hard to slow down and give a smile. Atmospher was cool..

It started out, tension was in the air even when fans were gearing up to go defend their honor. Vikings. Packers. Two teams, fight their boreder war. It was a game played for pride, played for bragging rights. Played for the true essence of the game. Status, power, dignity, for the love of the game and their homeland. The bar was not full. 4 or 5 tables maybe had patrons. Station 280, 2-4-1’s on a VIKINGS vs PACKERS game day.
The electricity in the air sparked, the essence of a sports bar and fan energy was crackling.
As the two teams battled for the win, the fans engaged in banter. A back and forth that honored a timeliness tradition that is the foundation of sports. Since the beginning of football, stands cheered, roared, brought the strongest men and women to their knees.
On this day, a day where the glory of each team hanging on the line.
Station 280, was the site or an abomination. A full frontal attack on sports enthusiasts, sport partina, sports fans across the world.
As Packers and Vikings fan came together to cheer, to boast, to rally behind theirs teams…
Two people felt disrespected, felt the fans were to loud, felt uncomfortable.
These two patrons immediately instead of respectfully addressing anyone. Went out side and aggressively berated me. A fan joyfully interacting with other fans. They said “You are the most obnoxious, rude, fragantly are inmmature person(obviously i am paraphrasing as these heathens were not using the same venacular.)
All in all, 280 chose to serve 2 people that were not eating and barely drinking. Killing the sports bar vibe, aggressively shoving, putting hands on me, and having to be held back by my date. Then kick 7.-9 people out for being joyful fans.
