Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Please check the quality of your food before driving off if you buy from here, the greens in my cobb salad were spoiled and they still served it. Evidently they do not care what they are serving customers nor care if they could potentially get people really sick.

Walk away if a fellow employee is “ordering” in front of you. 8-10 minutes chit chatting about their nails. Completely oblivious of the line. Not the first time. If you ask if ordering, you get the look and they will take rate ice as long. Management is a joke. Old management need to come back and set things straight as it was when in old location. Fties half full. Order whatasize, and large fries get poured on whatasize container. No condiments or napkins if you don’t ask for them.

I live close by and visit this Whataburger about once a week. It is a busy Whataburger, so the staff is usually super busy but always courteous and attentive.

This location is really clean, and they are constantly cleaning. The staff is really friendly and polite.

Whataburger is a great place to go in and order a custom burger, just the way you like it!
I like to order the #5 (bacon cheeseburger) no onion, mayo instead of mustard, easy veggies, with grilled jalapeños and toasted buns! plus, a cup of gravy for my fries!
I do want to point out that I felt degraded by an employee (Esmeralda) when she asked me to keep silent so she can listen to my partner take My order..
I am the one making the order, and paying as well! I asked for the manager, which she ignored my request and she didn’t make eye contact after that!
I left my food untouched, and felt like calling higher management (haven’t)(yet)
Point is, I can’t give this a lower rating based off one employee. Just keep an eye out!
