Social Profile:

Since our opening in 1991, we have made many improvements to our kitchen and dining room through expansions and renovations. However, our commitment to quality and taste will never change. We understand that our family recipes and commitment to high standards have made us who we are. Starting from our family’s first restaurant three generations ago, we have always used only beautifully fresh ingredients from the area’s best purveyors and suppliers. We then blend these ingredients with our family recipes to create great tasting, fresh dishes that are made to order. We plan on continuing our family tradition as Imperial 46 moves further into its third decade of serving the Woodland Park area.

Large strip-mall restaurant with hibachi tables for Japanese dishes & sushi, plus Chinese classics.

Lunch Special ( $12 or $13) gets you a soup, Entree and Rice choice. Absolutely great deal and the food was excellent. Restaurant is a very nice looking space and service was very friendly and attentive. Def keeping this one in the rotation.

Lots of fun and the food is great. I enjoy sitting at the hibachi tables. The show is a lot of fun. The food is prepared expertly with a dose of humor.

Food is really good and I love that there’s many options between Chinese, Japanese hibachi and sushi.

Overpriced food that went downhill fast. They don’t even give you physical menus to look at, have to scan a QR code which is super small and hard to read their “fine” print. My son asked for a kids meal and instead of saying he is too old which he was not, they prepared the food and charged us for an adult meal and the rude manager argued with us when we questioned it. Not accommodating at all and the portion was ridiculous. We used to be able to take home boxes of food and they have gotten skimpier on the amount you get. They have the chefs come out with money cups now for more tips and then have the nerve to automatically charge you 18% gratuity and hand you a bill for a credit card with an additional gratuity line. They are insane. I do not recommend this place. Save your hard earned money and dine at another establishment where the managers hear their customers and they don’t drain your wallets.

Well I haven’t been to this restaurant in a long time. In the past I always went to the hibachi side with no complaints.

This time decided to go to the empty restaurant side. As soon as I was being seated the manager seemed friendly and joking with me and my kid.

We ordered our food which seemed difficult bc the waitress was not understanding us at all. So I just started pointing to things on the menu.

When the food came out it looked very pretty however I tried my chicken and it was awful. It had an unbearable taste and was extremely slimy and pink inside. I tried explaining to my waitress and she right away ran for the manager. He wanted to know what exactly was wrong with it. I explained it had a bad taste and was slimy.

They took my food never asked to bring me something else. So I sat there and watched my son eat.

When the bill comes they charged me for everything on my plate and the side that came in a different plate except the chicken. But I didn’t eat anything off my plates bc they took my plates. So I didn’t eat sides and anything only drank a soda.

Then I see they add their own tip. With service like this and the fact that I didn’t eat anything I don’t feel the tip included should have been as much as it was I stayed quiet. Then she comes over and tells me this line here is for tip! Wait you do speak and understand English all of a sudden and now you asking for me to add an additional tip????

So I said to her but you already added the tip she said “not me”. I point to the line that shows the tip and she says more lol

So I get up and go to the manager and I said I didn’t even eat and you added your own tip and now your waitress who all of a sudden speaks English wants more for a tip. He said well I don’t know why you didn’t eat bc I tried the chicken and it was fine! Wait, what? You tried the chicken from my plate, I’m confused and grossed out. Then he says she doesn’t understand English. I said she does when she asking for a bigger tip.

I was so grossed out and aggravated I left after paying.

Pretty heavy bill for only my 13 year old eating lol

Stay away!

Imperial 46 is known for hibachi which we’ve tried a few times before. It’s fun and entertaining and the kids love it. Today we just went for sushi and I do think it’s one of the best sushi restaurant around in the area. We ordered a selection of rolls and also some salmon sashimi. All were delicious and fresh, particularly the salmon. Service is great and shout out to Uncle Eddie who is so funny! The manager also makes you feel very welcomed. Highly recommended

This was my first time in this kind of restaurant.
They were really polite and the chef was friendly and funny.
The food was good but a little salty for my taste. (Not too much, just a touch)
I ordered a lemonade and a mix of chicken with meat rice.
At the end they give you a scoop of ice cream.
Everything was good, a few messy pieces of food here and there… but nothing else.

They now charge you $7.50 for both rice and noodles – and the portion size of the meal is half the size it used to be. If you’re going to be increasing the prices that drastically, the portions should have remained the same size and or increased. Charging $7.50 for a small portion of “noodles add on” while also reducing the total rice received was extremely disappointing. Coming with a large group – this was a sticker price shock as it used to be $3 a few months back + larger portions. There are better places togo for hibachi.

The only positives were that the chef was nice as well as the waiter. The food was poor, it was inedible. I couldn’t eat the filet, rice, or noodles. When I told the waiter he got the manager and he came by shortly after. He proceeded to tell me it was my fault to tell the waiter that the food wasn’t good before the food was cooked. It sounds stupid but this is what happened. He also said I wasted one of their “black angus steaks”. The meal was ruined after our interaction with the manager. Overall, this place is awful and I will never eat here again. That’s no way to speak to a customer. And in the end, we only received 15% off my meal which is laughable.

I never edit my reviews but it is the next morning and I feel it is appropriate. I woke up throwing up. Really poor from the restaurant with their response too. Nobody came over to check on us from the time we began eating until the time they did which was at the end. As you can see on the plate, I barely ate my food.

I don’t think chicken is supposed to be pink and it was also very mushy. Sorry but I will pass.
