Quite disappointed with both food and service. Ordered the house salad (OK), calamari (bad, couldn’t eat sent it back), and the lasagna (OK).
The server took the calamari away )m(95% still on the plate), no apologies, did not ask how the lasagna was, did not offer parmesan cheese or anything else. We had to ask for a spoon to serve the lasagna (shared). Full bill with the calamari still on there. There are too many restaurants in SMA for this kind of experience.

I had food delivered so I can’t speak about the restaurant itself. I ordered the meat lasagna. I’m not sure if the chef ever read an Italian cookbook or had been to a real Italian restaurant before, but this was not lasagna. There was no tomato sauce or ricotta cheese to be found anywhere. No tomatoes at all! It was three layers of pasta, ground beef and topped with mozzarella. If you know what real lasagna tastes like, don’t order this.

Yum yum yum yum yum. This is your Nona’s Italian kitchen. Lovely flavors – huge portions. Food feels like it’s made with love by people who care. And the glass wine is delicious. 4 cheese ravioli is a gift to us all. Don’t look for fancy fusion here ….. just good food.

I searched many pizza spots in sma and I’m glad I dined at Antigua. There was a short wait when we arrived, but it was worth it. The restaurant is small and charming. Portions are big enough to share. We ate pizza, but everything they brought out was delicious.

What a lovely cozy little Italian restaurant in the heart of San Miguel de Allende. Just far enough, but still within walking distance of El Jardin and the Parroquia to have that, “in the know” but not touristy feeling. The food is great, the service friendly and attentive, every table affords views of iconic SMA streets. Check it out.

The place is cozy but could feel tight. I’ve had mixed experiences with the service. The food is always amazing eventhough we always get the same. Half Caprichosa, half meat pizza and a entree Portobello which is to die for. I must go there every time I visit San Miguel.

I can not believe how bad the food was. I ordered a soup and I told them I didn’t like it. He would argue with me . I still got charged for it and the gave me that soup to go. I couldn’t belive it. I said if I liked it I would have eaten it here but he said the cook said there is nothing wrong with it except it’s on watery side. Very bad service.

There was a group of 11 people ahead of us, but the waiter said their food was already cooking. He was very good and we got drinks and our pizza ordered. It took a bit but was well worth the time. Best pizza in Mexico. Great service and he wrapped our leftovers in foil and a foam box to make sure it came home in great shape.

This was really good red-gravy-Italian food. Despite reviews about “surly waiters” we got great service and they created a vegan dish for my daughter with no problem. It’s a very small space, but the tables turned over pretty fast, and we saw lots of people picking up to-go orders, if that works better for you. We enjoyed the dinner and the ambiance.
