I had the pleasure of dining at the Sopaipilla Factory Restaurant in Pojoaque, while I stopped by the Peoh Cultural Center and I must say, it was a truly relaxing experience. This is clearly a place where families, both local and tourist alike, can come together and enjoy great Northern Mexican food. The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, and everyone seemed to be having a wonderful dining experience.

For my lunch break, I chose the Carne Adovada plate, and it did not disappoint. The chile had just the right amount of spice (New Mexico Mild), perfectly complementing the tender pork. The Spanish rice was cooked perfectly, with just the right amount of ingredients, and while the mashed beans weren’t fresh, they were still quite good. The Sopaipilla was cooked perfectly with crispy top and the honey infused butter was out of this world, I swear the butter was home made by it’s creamy texture, consistency and taste.

I found the prices to be fair, especially considering the generous portions. My waitress was also incredibly attentive and had a truly pleasant personality, adding to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend the Sopaipilla Factory to anyone looking for a delicious and comfortable dining experience in Pojoaque.

This was admittedly my first stuffed sopaipilla, so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but it was very flavorful and delicious. Everything took longer than I would have expected because they didn’t seem very busy. But I’ll definitely go again to try more of the menu.

Came at opening time on Saturday (11). Ordered the sopaipilla combo Christmas style, with sopaipillas on the side the soak up the sauce. Put a little honey and butter on those, oh my! Highly recommended.

The salad was spicier than anticipated for my wife. I had the flautas and I was not impressed, plus I did not like that you could not customize the sides that came with them. It took quite awhile for the food to arrive. There were two of us and the server only gave us one of the puffy deep fried bread. Everyone around us got a full basket of them.

I was treated to a dinner at the Sopiapilla Factory by old family friend, local and was very satisfied the first time, I came back a second time alone and ate the same thing. It was delicious. I got the stuffed Sopiapilla with shredded beef, with beans and calvasitas (squash/zucchini/corn). You have to ask for the beans and calvasitas though.
I got a margarita that was good, just a bit too sweet- but I definitely felt the tequila. I’m a lightweight though.
Service was on point, friendly, and welcoming. Cozy atmosphere.

Really friendly service, the Sopaipillas were really delicious and large size. I got the shredded beef stuffed Sopaipilla with red Chile on the side instead of smothered. I would come back here again.

Hello Hello
The sopaipillas are like a crackers dry not good at all the pueblo taco was just okay the red chili was like water the taco salad was the best of everything we ordered. I have to say the food would not be memorable overly priced and we probably would not return.

Recommended by a local, a friend & I stopped here for lunch. The food was good but not great. (A little on the salty side) the chips & salsa was the best part of the lunch & they were delicious! Because of the reasonable prices, I would also recommend this place.

Decided to try this place on our way home. I would say this place ranks closer to a 4.5 than a 4 but I cannot give it a 5 star rating. The food was good and the service was amazing. The Red Chili was the star of the show. We both got stuffed Sopaipilla and both were tasty, I got shredded Beef and my wife got Chicken. We also both got Michelada and were also really good. We will try this place again.
