We didn’t go to this restaurant for a long time. I think they still keep their standard but the price is more reasonable than the other Chinese restaurant in Richmond.
The staff are nice and helpful.
All Chinese restaurants are quite quiet on weekdays. They offer some good promotion on weekdays. They give discount on dim sum and free tea in the morning and late lunch on weekdays. I think we get free tea in the lunch time too.
If you are in this area, this is a good choice for you.
They have a free parking lot but you may need to wait for the parking. We find 2 hours free parking in the street.
If you want having family birthday dinner, this is the good choice since they can arrange different size private rooms. The place is well kept and clean with high ceilings.
The size of the restaurant is good for a medium wedding banquet since the layout is good without any pillars. .

I think that this place is underrated because of its location. It’s a gem in itself. We ordered a meal for two that included dumplings, congee and noodles for $42.99. With dim sum dishes normally costing as about $12 each, it’s good value. The congee and noodles were quite big and I know we will be taking food home.

Made reservations and came around 1:30pm for the 20% off dimsum. The staff were friendly and were able to seat us a few minutes after we came in. They have some good deals like the 6 dumplings with 3 different flavors. We tried the souffle and it was good. Light and fluffy, but with a crispy thin crust. The sliced almonds gave it an extra crunch. It’s on the expensive side, but it’s worth the price. The staples are also a hit. I would recommend the spicy fried tofu and the chicken feet. Come after 1:30pm to get a 20% discount.

Tasty Chinese cuisine with their own parking lot in the back. Pretty good service as we had a bigger group for dinner.

The crab fried rice and the green onion oil fried noodle are pretty good. Other dishes are on par with other restaurants of similar calibre and price.

The orange dessert biscuit tastes interesting .. not sure exactly what ingredient it has except it’s sweet.

Absolutely delicious cantonese food, so much flavour!! The peking duck was phenomenal as always and unlike another restaurant they include the skin. The soup was delicious and unique and its interesting how they served the additional pork that was used in the soup which tasted bland on its own but a nice addition, so they took it away after i only tried one and no one else did. The chicken dick was amazing, the lettuce wrap flawless, fried rice very authentic, so much better than the yellow fried rice in america, the pineapple chicken was tasty, but the beef and eggplant could have been better because the beef was very chewy and not cooked enough; still red on the inside and the eggplant was not soft enough and i personally prefer it to be cooked longer. More spices is needed for the dish. I wish the tofu was soft tofu instead of medium because it would be easier to eat, and i wasnt a fan of the fried oysters because they had a very weird texture and the oyster itself i was struggling to find the meet as there was very little. Everything else tasted like fat.

Even though not every dish exceeded my expecrations and could have been tastier the other ones made me so happy because of how good they were and made this special occasion worth it. Taste wise 4.5 stars so 5.

Service had very quiet people, they just casually put your food on your table but they speak english and i saw many of the dishes being prepared and cooked in front of us on a pan which was very nice and they took extra care to give room and were professional, cleaning properly and picking up everything that fell onto the floor. Chinese service differs from american service so this quietness is exactly what i expected.
Will definitely come here again.

Many special-priced items to choose from including stir-try flat rice noodles with beef and scallion, beef balls, congee.

Their parking could be a challenge on a busy weekend. Update: street parking possible.

Would recommend their Chiu Chou fish ball noodles. In Vancouver they might be the only place serving noodles with crunchy fried pork lard (豬油渣)which is what you usually get in Asia, making it more rustic & authentic. In addition, the Price is reasonable and portion is large.

Most dim sum dishes would get a 20% discount – Please do check with the restaurant as this may be a limited time offer.

One star deducted from “service” because the food may take a while to come out. Not an issue for us because we could enjoy some quiet
time after a busy morning and chill out before starting to eat. Their food always look & taste fresh, and I did not detect much MSG in it. My taste buds are quite sensitive to MSG.

Their waiters & waitresses are really friendly and professional. Raymond, the manager, took good care of us.

Update Dec 11 2024: Ordered soufflé as our friends recommended it. It doesn’t disappoint! Very fluffy like eating cloud. The crunchy almond slices are done just before it burnt and thus very aromatic

Went there for an early brunch at 10 a.m. when they opened. Got seated right away.

Ordered their Lunch Specials for 2 Persons (Dim Sum Dumplings – 6 pcs.; Lean Pork Congee; Fried Rice Noodles w. Beef);
Also ordered : Deep Fried Taro Dumplings; Steamed Rice Rolls w. Beef; & Steamed Beef Tripes & Tendons
The food items were quite tasty as a whole. However, we both found quite thirsty afterwards. It might be because of the MSG in the Congee? We couldn’t be sure… If yes, I hope they could put less MSG on their food.
The Fried Rice Noodles w. Beef was a bit greasy (but really tasty).
The DF Taro Dumplings looked a bit dark yet the textures were crispy & crunchy, not very salty, still good.
I especially liked their Steamed Pork & Shrimp Dumpling (娥姐蒸粉果).
The Beef Rice Rolls were good. The Steamed Beef Tripes & Tendons were soft & tender.

Services were very attentive. Waiters were very friendly and answered my questions in a courteous manner.
You have to register your vehicle license plate number at the front desk.

The restaurant environment was very bright and clean.

This place mainly caters to regular customers, yet still made it into Vancouver’s Top 15 Chinese Restaurants! I came to try it this time and the food was truly amazing! Highly recommended!

Traditional Claypot Salt-Baked Longgang Chicken
Their sticky rice Longgang chicken requires advance reservation, so I went for the salt-baked version instead. Longgang chicken seems to be their signature dish, and it was absolutely delicious! The salt-baked flavor really penetrates the meat, the skin is crispy and the meat is tender—even the chicken breast wasn’t dry at all. It felt like all the moisture was locked in. Half a chicken was enough for five people. It came out last, but it was everyone’s favorite at the table

Claypot Pearl Sticky Rice Lobster
Lobster meat was plump and springy since it’s in season. Lightly battered, fried, and then braised. I honestly think the sticky rice underneath is the best I’ve had in Vancouver It was packed with toppings—salted egg yolk and Chinese sausage added richness. The rice was neither sticky nor hard, just perfect. The portion was huge—we packed it up and had it for two more days, haha.

Scallops Stir-Fried with Shrimp Paste and Two Kinds of Cauliflower
You could smell the shrimp paste, but the taste wasn’t overpowering. Generous portion of scallops—probably more than 20 pieces. Both the broccoli and cauliflower were crisp and fresh. This was the first dish to be finished.

Double-Boiled Soup in Individual Clay Pots
The first thing served—individual pots of double-boiled pork and cordyceps soup. Very fresh and appetizing.

Sweet and Sour Pork with Fresh Pineapple
I personally don’t like sweet and sour pork, but my dining companions thought it was tasty.

Stir-Fried Eight Treasures with Vermicelli (Vegetarian)
A huge portion with lots of ingredients—cabbage, enoki mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, rice noodles, etc. I found it just okay. The wok hei (wok aroma) was a bit too strong for a veggie dish.

Red Bean Soup
Osmanthus Jelly
One hot, one cold—both desserts were delightful. Just the right amount of sweetness.

Overall, I really liked this place and I’m definitely coming back to try their dim sum!

The food was good and nicely presented. The only drawback was that it got busy at around 7 and it took awhile to find someone to take our order.

I’m adding to this review because we went here for dim sum today and I was impressed with what a comfortable environment this is. I watched a bunch of toddlers playing on the floor, on the window ledges…and the restaurant staff were not fazed at all; it’s the kind of restaurant I like! Also, the dim sum we ordered was all delicious!
