Leary at first since since it’s way out the main city. Very homily restaurant. Great customer service. Their prime rib was so delicious and within reasonable market price compare to others at that time. My espouse was amazed with her steak. It was cook the way she wanted and pleasant-tasting. I have to take out a star from atmosphere due to a patron, not the establishment fault of their own, made a racist remark regarding deportation. That won’t stop me from coming back when in town.

Salad bar was awesome. Had the Prime rib, wasn’t as good as ive had. But the rest of the families food was great. But I did not go away hungry. Will definitely try again. Place was also packed.

Waitress wasn’t to pleasant. Fast and quick to move on took forever getting my boyfriends food after 30 minutes of waiting for his food to come out while the rest of us were eating his food was being recooked and still raw and uncooked and waited forever to get out of the place. SERVICE WAS TRASH!

Neat off the beaten path find. Laid back atmosphere. Large portions of food. Especially the combo appetizer platter. Great strong Long Islands. Prime Rib was ok. Many TVs set up for game day. We will be back.

This was so sad. I stumbled across the Plainsman on my birthday traveling. I thought WOW Steakhouse in the middle of the country there are a bunch of cars in the lot. The building is decorated old west with waggon wheels and a stage coach. Then i notice the carpet is missing like they had booths and took them out but didnt fix the carpet. I look at the menue its not extensive which is good do what you do do it well. There were a few steak choices seafood. I thought this is going to be great the steak is going to be from a local farmer everytning will be fresh. The menus was very specific on the steaks what to ask for as to how you wanted your steak cooked. I ordered medium as i like a nice pink center and juicy. I got my plate the cut was odd like it was three seperate pieces. The baked potato was small and wrapped in tinfoil and was under done and i got 2 pre-packaged things of butter, i ordered extra butter. When i cut into the steak it was clearly well done, dry as a bone and the pink was long gone. The salad bar was like going to golden coral but no fresh meats and half the choices. The more i think about the more dissapointed i am in how high an expectation i han and how far they missed in meeting it.

I had the Prime rib with salad and soup bar. There is nothing outstanding or flashy here. The atmosphere is small town family dinner . The food is good classic fare..
Make reservations if planning on visiting during the weekend.

Our waitress was very forgetful, many times she said she would be right back and didn’t make it back until we waved her down. The baked potatoes were very dry the texas toast was hard and cold and my ribeye was underseasoned not very hot and very chewy, however my husband’s prime rib was very good. His tea glass was empty alot. We used to go here quite frequently but the prices have gone way up while the quality have gone down. We will definitely try it again, because it could have been an off night, but wouldn’t recommend to anyone right now.
