Really nice place to eat Mexican food, their salsa is above the average testaurant one and goes really well with the totopos. I think the margaritas have so.e room for improvement but the food taste really good and have good portions ! Service is good and fast.

Greeted well on arrival. Then I was seated at a dirty table. The waitress cracked a joke and asked me why I already made a mess? It’s not that funny. I asked if I could make a substitution for the rice on a menu item that came with rice and vegetables, I asked if i could get a few extra vegetables or beans in place of the rice that I couldn’t eat, I was told no. I’m from Tex Mex Central in Houston, and I can assure you that every time I ask for something reasonable to substitute rice, they do it with a big smile. I ordered the lettuce wraps with grilled shrimp and asked for no tortilla strips or cheese. The food was fresh and delicious. The waitress never came back to check on me after delivery of food. What a pity about the experience. If the place was a bit cleaner and the service was friendly, I’d definitely recommend them for the great fresh food.

Tex Mex but more. Its a fun atmosphere. Good staff. Great food that has some interesting twists like pablano pasta and birra tacos. Even the salsa was hot and fresh and tasted fire roasted. I really liked this place its not cookie cutter its unique and fun. Def 5/5

One of the best meals I’ve ever experienced in a Mexican food restaurant!
I had the coyote combo – the chicken enchilada was supreme!! And I usually like refried beans, but could take or leave them most places. Refried beans here are exceptional.
Service was great as well. Highly recommend!

Really good fajitas full of flavor. The tortillas are handmade and the beans were perfect. Service was extremely friendly and attentive. Good spot for great Tex Mex.

First time in there. Had a wait for my order of water and soda. Ordered the Trash Nachos with ground beef. When the order came there was no meat in the order. I told the waitress and she went back and brought a small bowl of meat sent by the kitchen. I went all over the nachoes and no meat was in it. I asked the waitress to look at it and she said she wasn’t going to argue back and forth between me and the kitchen. The experience of coming to the restaurant was ruined. I had already paid so I just left the food on the table and left. I was told that it is a good place to eat but I will never go back again. If there is a complaint about the food the waitress should ge the manager to come over and find out what is going on.

Hello everyone!
My husband and I are new to the area and we tried some Mexican restaurants and one of it is ” Herraduras”. One of our visits is on December 6, that’s there 10 years anniversary and we wanted to visit to have some margaritas. Teresa is our server that time she’s great! After getting our bill there was another staff talk to us if we would like to try to spin the prize wheel for free to get some prices and I spin it and won “free meal on my next visit”.
Today my husband and I went back to get my next free meal and get some drinks.We decided to get “1800 Parrillada” and split it because it’s a lot, we still have some left over. Guy’s my favorite food in Herraduras is Chicken tinga and the non alcoholic drink is the “Artesanal agua de horchata” Delicious!

Had the avocado grilled chicken enchiladas, they were excellent! Food came out nice and hot, can’t wait to visit again! My go to Mexican food in Lufkin! Also, the sangria margarita was so good!
