Had a great experience at Nooshi in DC. The service was warm and attentive throughout the meal, which really added to the vibe.

I didn’t get a chance to try the sushi this time, but the curry laksa was a standout—rich, comforting, and just the right level of spice. The portion was generous. They also had happy hour items. Would definitely come back to try more of the menu.

Use to come here every year! Since covid hit they cut back on service. There is a new Chef I am guessing because the taste is not the same. The attention to customers and detail is gone! The experience is not the same. It’s not the worse but not what it use to be. I use to love the pad Thai but it had no flavor this day. I don’t think I’ll be going back.

We enjoyed our visit. We took advantage of happy hour and continue to order off the recorder menu. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the staff were attended and friendly. We sat outside, and it was very relaxing. Definitely worth of visit.

This is the best sushi spot in the area. The sushi is super fresh and comes in so many different kinds, letting you build your own combo just how you like it. Their Thai Milk Tea is also the best I’ve had anywhere. It’s not too sweet, making it taste great and feel like a healthier choice. And the couches are really comfortable too, perfect for

5/5 thai fried rice! It’s one of the best fried rice I’ve had, period. Very flavorful, good texture. I got it with shrimp as my protein (shrimp was normal smaller-medium sized, okay number).

4.9/5 green tea cheesecake: basically a delightful cheesecake with the barest hint of green tea (I had to take 5 bites before I could taste tea at all). Texture was perfect and it was light and sweet.

Great food, good music, and lovely drinks. I took myself out on a date and ate 3 orders of the salmon avocado rolls! The Japanese dumplings and the pomegranate martini was also good!

Food was average but, for the price, you’d expect the quantities to at least be adequate. The Dixie sized rice was laughable, and the fact the General Tao Chicken container wasn’t filled was disappointing considering it cost $20.50. The dark meat chicken that was used was rough cut and lightly sauced while the veggies supplied were not phenomenal. There were also a few less than quality bites of chicken as well. The veggie spring rolls were fine, but $8.50 is a bit much.

It was a pleasant surprise. We were in DC for a short visit and walked into Nooshi. The environment was very inviting and the staff were super friendly. They offer a variety of Asian fusion. The food was delicious, and the presentation was great. We just beat the lunch rush. It could get very busy during lunch hours.

Absolutely one of the best noodle shops in D.C. with some of the best Happy Hour deals from 4-7. All drinks are 50% off (with a hefty amount of alcohol), sushi rolls and snacks are ~$5, and the portion sizes are really big.

Highly recommend their delicious and crispy Seven Spices Tofu Fries and their Curry Laksa with its broth is delicious. But all of their sushi rolls and noodles dishes are good options. The staff are incredibly kind, and I would definitely come back to try the rest of the options!

Generally, the restaurant isn’t too crowded on weekdays, but they do allow reservations. There is both outdoor and indoor seating.

Second time around and still really enjoying the restaurant. Had their Mojitos this time and the Pomegranate mojito was delicious. Also had the Pikachu Maki Roll which was massive and sadly didn’t resemble Pikachu but tasted very good.

OMG. Beautiful food, awesome staff and beautiful decor. Please go here and enjoy this amazing restaurant. Not only did they have the regular Japanese classics, they had a few other options. I would normally order Teriyaki Salmon, however, I tried the Mongolian Vegetable Stir Fry. Best Stir Fry I’ve ever had. The Brussel sprout pieces were a master stroke.
