This place has a warm home feeling. Kya was absolutely amazing. Her customer service , and hospitality was wonderful . The neck bones is a 10 out of 10 all day , everyday and twice on Sundays
It is very rare you find a young person like Kya. She didn’t have her face buried in her phone. She made sure I didn’t need anything. She kept my cup filled with sweet tea without me having to ask and had a to go container as soon as I was finish eating and when I tell you the sweetheart bagged it up for me.
Please visit everyone is nice and will make sure you have a great experience

From the moment we walked in to the time we left, **the greeting and table service were a solid 10/10!** This was our first visit, and since we were traveling to Memphis, we had to stop for some true Southern food and hospitality — and The Four Way did not disappoint.

I ordered the 2-piece dark fried chicken with turnip greens, yams, and cornbread. My girlfriend ordered the fried green tomatoes, salmon croquettes, cabbage, black-eyed peas, and peach cobbler and we both had the VIP drinks. A must to get!

Let’s start with that fried chicken — I took one bite and literally had a tear in my eye. It reminded me of my mother’s fried chicken when I was a little girl. Omg! It was crispy, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. The yams were out of this world, and the turnip greens were so flavorful you didn’t even need hot sauce!

The salmon croquettes had amazing flavor and breading — just a little on the dry side — but the house-made tartar sauce complemented them perfectly. The cabbage was delectable. She said the fried green tomatoes tasted just like her grandmother’s. The black-eyed peas were full of flavor.

The peach cobbler had great flavor, though it was a bit thick and dry — I would have loved a few more peaches. The cornbread was the only real miss for me — a bit dry, thick, and cold.

Even with those small notes, everything else — especially the service and the soul in the food — made this a must-visit spot. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Memphis!

My, the folks who have dined in this establishment! What an incredible restaurant! I was too distracted by the delicious food I again forgot to get any photos! The fried catfish was out of this world, and the sweet potato pie was just about the best I’ve had. We also loved the yams and mac n cheese. The women working were so sweet and friendly. I cannot wait until my next visit!

Great vibes. One of my favorite places to be in Memphis. I take people here all the time to get a taste of Memphis.

Love seeing folks not from the south take a sip of the VIP for the first time (as Mr. Jerry calls it liquid crack ). Love the hospitality of the Thompson crew, TJ, Jack and others.

My girlfriend and I visit Memphis often and are always looking for new restaurants/foods to try. The Four Way did not disappoint! The food and customer service were both a 10/10. I ordered the 3 piece wing entree with cabbage and black eyed peas with a Four Way VIP (half tea/half lemonade). So good! My girlfriend basically got the same thing, but with bread pudding as one of her side items. We will definitely be back to try more.

The folks there were amazing and the food was delicious. I would recommend this place to all those who visit Memphis, Tennessee. We even bought a whole sweet potato pie to take back to Texas. Keep doing an amazing job.

I wish I had taken a picture of the fried fish, black eyed peas, greens, and cornbread. It looked as good as it tasted. And it tasted like home, but better (don’t tell my mama I said that). The tea was perfect half sweet/half unsweet. I had a hard time deciding between peach cobbler and sweet potato pie for dessert, but the lovely young lady I asked to help me decide recommended the cobbler. Sweet potato pie next time for sure. Maybe one of each.

I liked the style of the place, too. Lots of old photos and articles about The Fourway, and its history. Some interesting old pieces decorated the restaurant that gave it a warm nostalgic feel.

This was my first visit, but I’ll definitely be back to try more food for the soul, and soak up the atmosphere, check out the photos, and nourish body and soul with the good food, good music, and good people.
