Came here on a Saturday evening. This place is busy. The restaurant was 75% full. We got our table quickly. The server didn’t write down our order and said she’s remembered it. She our wonton chicken tacos wrong. She brought out nachos. She claims she took someone order. We accidentally spilled water and asked for napkins. She gave us the napkins but never refilled the water

Somehow they made the chicken parm rubbery. Also the other thing we ordered, the bourbon chicken and shrimp was too salty. I’m never going to Applebees again. The chips and artichoke dip were good though.

I had arranged a surprise birthday party for Sunday March 1st. at the Hackensack location for 20 people. I have to say the staff was absolutely amazing! Leslie our waitress was very friendly and on point with every order. All our appetizers came out at the same time. Hot and delicious! Afterwards Leslie refreshed our drinks and then our dinners came out all at once again.
We were never rushed, after dinner we sat around and conversed a bit, then they brought out the cake that we provided . They sang the most energetic happy birthday song! The whole restaurant got in on it!
Hackensack Applebee’s did a fantastic job at preparing the tables, making sure we sat family style.
We also wanted to compliment Kerri the hostess who took my phone calls , and made sure the area of the restaurant was set up perfectly for us including accommodating one of our guest, who is in a wheelchair chair.
We appreciate all the employees who made my wife’s surprise party a success! She was surprised! The food was delicious!! The drinks were amazing! All had a great time !!!

I frequently visit this location with my family. However yesterday was the worst-case of professionalism I have ever encountered. The food was cold, service took extremely longer. Then on top of everything. When appetizerscame. They brought dirty plates to our table. When I spoke to host. I was told this happens. Which gave abad taste. I was celebratingmy grandbabybirthday. I refused to eat my food. Yet did not want to make my grandbaby day a mess. I will never visit this location again.

Alvin, Ashley, Leslie, Brandon, Baitlyn, and the rest of the Applebee’s team has been so congenial and hospitable towards my service. Thomas, Niki, Asia, Marlene, Pamela, Josh, Isaiah, and the rest of the gang has been helping me out and they checked back with me periodically to make sure that the service is good. I give everyone a A+ on their performance. I deeply appreciate all of the line cooks and the managers. The music is so amazing when it comes to relaxing my mind and the sports are good because that’s why the guest keeps coming in the restaurant. I pray that we get a lot of positive reviews this Valentine’s Day weekend. I am jovial and thankful to get the job done and I want to keep showing my true colors as much as I can.

Overall, I had a really good experience at this Applebees location. Everything felt easy from the start — we got seated relatively quickly, food came out hot, and nothing felt rushed. The place was busy but still had a good vibe, and we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves. Seeing the staff interact with one another, you could tell there was a family dynamic in this workplace.
Service was on point the entire time. Our drinks stayed full, and anytime we needed something it was taken care of without having to ask twice. It never felt like we were being ignored, but we also didn’t feel like someone was hovering over us either.
Our server Dave was great and definitely played a huge part in how smooth everything went. He was very friendly, checked in at the right times, and just had a positive attitude overall. He went above and beyond for us – you could tell he truly cares about his customers. Would 100% come back and would be happy to have him again!

This place is always a hit. The managers and staff and welcoming and friendly. It’s just always a nice atmosphere. It’s one of those places where you know you’ll get all the “things”. Including good service, good food, and a good prices. The fiesta lime chicken is slept on! Mix the cheese and the sauce in with the rice and thank me later
