Extremely bold of them to build next to Wisconsin’s finest, thats right theres a culvers right down the road. Not only do the red and blue color schemes scream that they are on opposite teams, but they have almost the same food. Freddies definitely has the better chocolate custard, however their french fries are a disgrace to potatoes.

I ate here one night in early November. It was a real treat, to say the least. If I’m being honest, the people here were the first restaurant or retail workers in Tyler who made my family and I feel welcome rather than like a nuisance, and it’s hard to overstate just how important that is.
The food was really tasty and warm with generous servings. This was our first time eating at any Freddy’s, and we will definitely try more locations and return to this one if we are in the Tyler area again.

This is the WORST Freddy’s.
We were in for dinner and the place was empty. They told us they already KNEW the root beer was out of syrup when we told them when there was no sign on it. My burger patties were flopped and stuck side by side on my burger instead of on top of eachother, making it impossible to hold. And used banana flavoring instead of bananas in my Peanut Butter Bananza concrete.
Thats not even mentioning how half of them were standing around talking when the place was really dirty.

I like that they have a small fridge by drive thru window, so when they make shakes/ice cream when you are way back in line, it is not as meaty as it used to be. Maybe make it colder?? They are still a lil melty. If I can drink my shake through a regular straw with NO problem, they need to make it when I am at window

After visiting a bunch of different Freddy’s locations in multiple cities, I FINALLY had a good experience at this one.
I ordered an original double burger and asked to add lettuce and tomato to it. This made a huge difference! Also, I tried the onion rings for the first time. THE ONION RINGS ARE ACTUALLY GOOD!
To whoever owns this location, the friendliness of your staff (especially during a rush) is absolutely paramount to a good customer experience. The happy, smiley girls working your drive thru window when I came through made my crazy long wait in line worth it.

Go for the fry sauce and stay for the custard! Kids love the original sauce on the fries, burgers and hot dog. You can also branch out and try the jalapeño one for some spice or they had a smoky flavor option which was new to me. I put it on my burger and was pleased with the flavor. Custard is always a treat.

I tried their cheese curds for the very first time, they were not good for my weight loss competition, but they were absolutely delicious. The front counter lacked a lot of personality, but was able to put our order in and get it right.
