House specialties include simply grilled fish, U.S.D.A Prime sirloin steaks, and a classic burger. Grilled chops, roasted organic chicken, and lobster bisque are other favorites. All dishes are made fresh in-house, often starring locally sourced ingredients. Warm and inviting, the setting evokes the classic grills of the 1950s and 1960s, with cherry wood ceilings and wainscoting, old barn-wood floors, and a spectacular butcher-block bar top made of reclaimed wood from a former Cleveland factory.

We got the Really Good Bread, the Firecracker Shrimp, the Best Coleslaw Ever, the Braised Short Rib, and the PRIME New York Strip. It was all delicious. The Shrimp was spicier than expected, but still great. The meat was tender, moist, and cooked to perfection.
Cheesecake Dave took great care of us, was personable, polite, and funny.
The atmosphere was dark, clean, classic, and romantic.

We celebrated my friend’s birthday here last evening! Not only were we seated right away but also had the pleasure of being in a semi private area — which we loved! Our waiter, Christopher was comical, professional, and prompt! 5-star service and we’d request him every-time should we go again. Excellent food, the ambiance was opulent, and the wine was superb!

We went during dinnertime on Good Friday. The place was very busy, but we were seated right away. Only 2 drawbacks, 1. It is very dark inside during the dinner rush and 2. They charge club soda as a soft drink.
