January 2nd, Around 10:20pm.
The bartender (short, blonde, around 5’1”) was extremely rude and disrespectful from the start. I tipped her multiple times throughout the night. On the final receipt, I didn’t leave an additional tip because I had already tipped her several times — and that’s when the situation turned hostile.
She pressured and forced customers to tip, refusing to accept “no” as an answer. Tipping is optional, not mandatory, and no bartender has the right to bully or intimidate paying customers over it.
When I asked to speak to a manager about her behavior, she claimed she was the manager. What kind of manager behaves this way? Forcing tips, lying about being management, and treating customers with disrespect is completely unprofessional.
The worst part: because I didn’t tip on the last receipt, she took my beer away, even though I had already paid for it. That is theft, plain and simple. I paid for my alcohol, and it was taken from me out of spite.
I’ve never experienced anything like this. If this is how staff — or “management” — treats customers, I won’t be returning, and I strongly suggest others think twice. Customers deserve respect, not pressure, dishonesty, or retaliation.
Do not come here. She will rob you and force you to tip or kick you out. Disgusting behavior.
My friend was treated incredibly poorly by the bartender (short, blonde, around 5’1”). I watched him tip her multiple times throughout the night. When he didn’t leave an additional tip on the final receipt — because he had already tipped her — her attitude completely changed.
She began pressuring and forcing customers to tip, refusing to accept “no” as an answer. That behavior is inappropriate and unprofessional. Tipping is optional, not something staff get to demand.
When my friend asked to speak with a manager, she claimed she was the manager, which was shocking considering how she was acting. Next day, we spoke to another manager, Eric, and he clearly did not care how the bartenders are treating customers or that they are forcing people to tip. There was zero concern, zero accountability, and no attempt to resolve the situation.
The most unacceptable part: because my friend didn’t tip on the last receipt, the bartender took his beer away, even though he had already paid for it. I saw it happen. That is not okay under any circumstances.
It seems like no owner or manager cares about how customers are being treated or about stopping this behavior. Forcing tips, lying about management, and retaliating against paying customers should never be tolerated anywhere.
I won’t be returning, and I don’t recommend this place to anyone who expects respect, professionalism, and basic customer service
I understand economy is tuff and bartenders live off their tips but economy is tuff for us too and if you dont like relying on people dont be a bartender.
And definitley dont throw a tantrum, crumbling paper, and making remarks when someone orders one drink and doesnt pay your college tuition in tips. We dont tip people who arent serving us. Our friends are the only ones ordering hence why they will tip. But atp i hope they dont.
The pool sticks need to be replaced so that more people can play at the tables with you.
Many pool players and regulars who show up which makes for a fun time.
Recommend the chicken wings.
