I’m visiting from Texas. Stopped here with my family after the farmers market and had some carne asada street tacos. Flavor was excellent the green sauce and Pico were on point and definitely made me feel at home. I highly recommend adding breakfast tacos to your menu it’s a Texas staple that everybody would love here (I’m a local native). Went to the bathroom to wash my hands and it was one of the cleanest bathrooms I’ve seen at a restaurant, bonus points for that. I will definitely return on my next visit thank you for the wonderful service today!

(Note: CASH ONLY!) Delicious food with good, big portion sizes at reasonable price. My friend got the shrimp burrito and I got the tostada plate with shrimp- we both ate everything! Very satisfying meal. Lots of seating options inside and outside. I also enjoyed the horchata. It was nice to sit outside on a hot day near the misters by the plants. Bathroom available with key. Parking lot for customers available as well.
This is also close to Brentwood city hall, the library, and the park. Great place to bring family or friends to enjoy a nice meal and then walk around after or perhaps bring food to eat in the park.

Enjoyed two Al pastor tacos while my better half had a carne asada super burrito. $3 for a street taco seems expensive, but the economic climate today coupled with inflation makes it an unavoidable evil. However, there was a lot of meat in the tacos, necessitating a fork for all the kamikazee food that jumped out of the tacos while being eaten. While expensive, they did their best to make it a good value. The super burrito was exactly the monstrosity you’d expect. My fiance could only eat half. $12 for a super burrito feels like a bargain these days. I’ve paid up to $18 elsewhere. We also ordered a horchata. All of this came to $20.50. They only accept cash, but conveniently have an ATM inside(which will charge you $3). The staff were very nice and the restaurant appeared clean. Our order was to go. There is ample seating outside and a large menu of items to order from. Parking is probably an issue during busier lunch and dinner hours. They have high chairs for children.

Authentic, great place! I had the taco salad cause it was only my first visit and I wanted something basic. It was loaded. I was surprised to find rice in there, but it was good, and the roughly ground beef is definitely not taco-bell slime. It’s walk-up and order, but plenty of places to sit inside or out on their patio. Fast service, super friendly and really good. I’ll be back!

La costa is a staple in the community and they deliver good quality food and service again another spot we typically do a quick takeout that doesn’t break the bank and I feel the portions are reasonable. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner. Overall this place is great and I enjoy mostly the tortas, and the tostadas are amazing !

Maybe it’s the cash only vibe that makes meals feel free (no money leaving my bank acc), but I love this spot. Food is delicious, portions are awesome, and prices are fair.

My go to is the lengua tacos, doused in extra sauce. Underrated side order of chips + straight avocado ($2) just compliments the whole thing.

A long time ago I used to visit this location when it was a burger place and although it was good, I think La Costa is so much better! My favorite time to drop in is after a long afternoon of boating and skiing and once we get out of the water, it’s just a short drive from Orwood into town. There is plenty of parking and it honestly feels like you are sitting in a little taco stand in Mexico. The portions are big, the prices are reasonable and the food is fabulous. I wouldn’t want to eat here every day or I’d soon weigh 250lbs but it’s perfect for a nice night out. I wish they would take cards but grabbing cash before isn’t too difficult.

You can tell a lot about any business by the attitude of the people working there. I was greeted by Natalia, who took out order. She was happy and outgoing and almost joyful in her work. I didn’t get the name of the man I picked out order up from, but he had the same joy.
I wasn’t surprised when the food was so good!

**Be aware: CASH ONLY**

Consistently good burritos, although the price increased…$2 increase in a regular burrito making it $10. I understand some inflation increase, but a 25% increase after a pandemic for the same size burrito just isn’t cool.

“Not cool” enough that we just realized the other night that we don’t come here anymore — we just stopped. That, by definition, means “It’s okay” or lower, so minus 2 stars Stark contrast from when we used to come 1-3x/week. Cash only is supposed to be cheaper than other places…now we’ve found larger super burritos for cheaper.

We also have been receiving lower quality of meats with more fat/grisly pieces, and the burritos are dripping oil out of them…so the quality has gone down.

We’ll likely return with a group that already happens to be downtown and wants to come here, but we apparently won’t seek it out or suggest it to others to meet at anymore

4/5 stars on the burrito, good, but not exceptional. It was a great size for its cost; $9.
4/5 stars enchiladas, fairly spicy.
Make sure to grab a fork or ask for one when doing to go.
Helpful people and good set up. Everyone was wearing masks and our order was fulfilled very quickly.
