A family favorite every time we’re in town! The best sweet tea-flavorful and sweet with the crunchy ice! I went for the salad but regretted it…Will stick to the never-disappointing choice of stp dipper! The staff is always so warm, welcoming, and professional.

Amazing hot sandwiches every time. Definitely a Columbia staple and if you come to this location during lunch on the weekend you better have some spare time to wait. It is always packed out and their parking can fill up. But it’s worth the wait.

Food was delicious and we always love the 45 sauce. It makes simple sandwiches something extra. It was a little bit of a wait for Take Out order but it was a Friday Night so to that is to be expected. Server was great and kept checking in on our order and got it to us as quickly as she could!

Food was just as expected deli food nothing spectacular… I wasn’t impressed with the service nor cashiers sent my daughter to pay and she stood there patiently as the 3 cashier’s ignored her called people behind her to pay no it’s not only the cashier’s issues but also other customers some just getting a refill. It is sad when your child is well behaved trying to do the right thing and they get ignored.

Maybe if we would have continually dropped food on the ground or asked the server to take our picture we would have been treated better…. that said we will not be back…

More take aways… several employees just standing around and when we left 3 tables that where dirty when we walked in where still dirty when we left 45 mins later….

We love Groucho’s Deli, and we have visited many of them, but this is the best of all. The largest one we have been in by almost double.
Friendly staff and fast service.
And of course the delicious Groucho’s menu. Everything is consistently good.
The parking can be difficult during busy times, so you might want to try the municipal lot across the street.
A great place to eat in downtown Lexington!

Same as it always was back in the salad days of my youth and the old school Five Points shop with cranky Ivan and a steady rotation of co-eds. Thus was and still is my triple play go-to sandwich, with that signature dipping sauce, tucked under a blanket of melted cheese. Oh, and it’s got to be the sweetest tea around.

My first time at Groucho’s, and I liked my food – I got a lightened-up “white moose” (turkey & swiss) that came with a pickle and pretzels. But it seemed to take forever. I walked in to get an order to go and I think the kitchen was backed up with tons of called-ahead orders. It’s a fun, casual place with a big dining room, but overall, I just wasn’t that impressed.

I have been a long time loyal customer but my last two experiences have closed that loyalty and I won’t be returning. The first strike was the other month for our firms office order. Which I placed early with a select time for pick up. Yet when o arrived sat for 45 minutes while I watched parts of the order be handed to other customers. After making all the employees miss their lunch hour I was advised not to order any future lunches from here.

Last night I was attempting to support my children’s school, placed again an order for pick up, and due to an uncontrollable event I was an hour late in pick up. I arrive to NO ORDER. I hear chatter in the back about potato salad (which I had 3 orders of) and her a guy say “she’s an hour late”. A sweet girl comes out and says “we ran out of potato salad, but he refunded you.” So, a lie to cover her coworker. And let me say NO ONE from the restaurant even called me at any point. So I tell her to skip the side and I’ll just take my order, assuming it is just in the back. NO, they either ate it, used it for other orders or disregarded as I had to stand there and wait for them to make it.

The same voice I heard in the back prior came to me, went to hand me a bag and said “I just made it as normal if that’s ok.” No this is not ok I replied as my husband has allergies. I refused the order and requested a refund. Mr too cool sighed and said “it’s going to take me a minute”. Needless To say the disrespect and horrible customer service has secured the nails in the coffin for this local facility.

Superb BLT. Old school setting with very interesting potato salad. It’s in tiny cubes! Very distinctive taste. The founder has an interesting back story. The crew was friendly and food was on point.

Groucho’s of Lexington seems to be a favorite local hang out for many groups of people and especially for our family. In all truthfulness, it’s not my top choice (not saying it’s not good because it’s okay.), but it seems anytime we’re thinking about going to a restaurant close to home, my wife and teenage daughters always seem to bring up Groucho’s.

Our family of four will typically order one of the many sandwiches or one of the varieties of salads. I’ve never had anything that was not fresh and tasty.

On any given visit, the patrons of this casual restaurant will include the young, the old, and everything in between. His often do you have sports teams band members, businessmen, and just teenagers hanging out. There’s a great atmosphere relax

The service is always friendly and Prompt.
