Went in for dinner last week after hearing mixed things from friends, and overall it was a solid experience. The place had a relaxed, neighborhood kind of feel, nothing fancy but comfortable. Our server was polite and checked in just enough without hovering. I ordered a burger with fries, and it came out hot and put together well. The flavor was good, not mind blowing, but satisfying. Portions felt fair for the price. The restaurant was fairly busy, so service was a little slow at times, but not frustrating. I’d come back again if I was nearby and wanted something familiar and easy.

The attendant took my order in the drive-thru. She was decent as far as taking the order. But the wait for my food was FOREVER!!! I appreciate that the food is hot out the grease but it shouldn’t take that long to cook. Especially since the lobby wasn’t full. I was there in the evening (around 7:50pm). I ordered gizzards (only) and a shrimp snack. Nothing massive. By the time I left there were 7 cars behind me.

The shift manager (Ivy) was very rude, very unprofessional, yelling at customers and we waited over 45 mins for 2 chicken tenders orders this was in the middle of lunch everyone in the restaurant had to wait over 30 mins on their orders because she is not management material ot fit to work in public. She does not need to be in a leadership role. I’m sure corporate will here from several of the customers in the restaurant today. The crew was great the food was great the manager does not need to be there at all with the way she talks to people. Thank u for reading

I really like the spicy chicken and Mac the service was awful. No one that worked there was friendlybar all and acted like they were put off by having to do their jobs and to top it off I got charged twice for the one meal and never got refunded it. I would give it ZERO STARS EXCEPT if it weren’t for the food tasting good.

I ordered two tender dinners. Tasted like everything was fried in old oil and had a bad after taste. Rolls were stale. Meal was also too salty. I spent $20 and the food was not edible. I won’t be back.

Great chicken, the service can be very slow sometimes if it is mostly young folks working. Especially if you’re a white person, some employees will give preferential treatment to black customers and will purposely give them their food first, even if they ordered the same thing. If it is mostly adults or the manager is there, then the service will probably be fine.

Horrible experience- poor customer service & no structure at this particular location. Tables were dirty/floor was nasty and sticky. Even though it was 25+ min wait on the food it was hot & fresh. Constant bickering among the staff & customers as if it wasn’t other customers in the lobby.

I met one of the owners at the store down on D.I.P. on Friday night had a nice conversation with him…and found out some of the reasoning behind closing on sundays…then the eventual reopening on sundays…he really cares about the people that work for the company….the chicken was good and hot also…
