We went to celebrate a birthday. Food was really, really good. Everyone cleaned their plates. The Fried Okra and Fried Green Tomatoes were perfect. But those Beignets were incredible. We actually ordered a second basket.

When we walked in I could tell the food would be good due to the aesthetics! The place looks a bit dumpy but that’s when you know the food is going to be good! Our waitress was extremely attentive! Very on point! Service was quick! The sautéed crab claws were delicious! We also had the chargrilled oysters which were a bit smaller than we are accustomed to but still really good & flavorful! Me & hubby had the catfish platters & the fish tasted like it was just caught that morning! Really fresh! Fried green tomatoes & the fried okra were really good as well! And shout out to the bartender who made the margaritas! They were amazing!

So good I went twice! Able to accommodate gluten allergy. Red fish without the sauce is gluten free.

The servers from Cajun Steamer and the bartenders next door add fun to the atmosphere by writing notes and taping to the glass for the other restaurant to read. Cute jokes and notes. Glad to see young people actually enjoying what they do. Door was great as well. Service was stellar.

We love everything that we had ordered at Cajun Steamer Bar and Grill. It was Saturday night, the line was outside the door but once we got to our table our orders came out fairly quickly. Our server and the hottest were nice and prompt. We were staying at the Courtyard by Marriott and want to grab a bite without having to drive. It was the perfect walking distance for us and the food was delicious! The price was not bad for all the foods and beverages that we ordered!

This is my favorite place to eat in Middle Tennessee! The place is always clean, the service is always friendly, and the food and atmosphere are always fantastic! Their menu has plenty to offer and the prices are always reasonable. I highly recommend everyone giving Cajun Steamer a try.

Had the shrimp tacos. Not much flavor even with added hot sauce.Definitely wished for some Old Bay. My husband had the salmon & that seemed better. Overall good experience with the service, drinks, location and cost. Look forward up trying something else on their menu that will give that Cajun flavor and flare.

Beware of the quantities. Charge $6-$8 for a cup of dish and the the dish is full of rice than actually dish you pay for.

So I had to delete my old review and rewrite a new one . The new manager I can’t remember his name but I know that the initial is P. He was so nice and welcoming. He was helpful and just so nice. Please keep him because I’ve never felt welcomed ever at this location. I wish I could give the manager 100 stars . The only issue I have is i ordered a dozen oysters and they only gave me 11 lol but the 11 oysters was amazing

The oysters were the biggest we’ve ever seen. Had a many on the gulf but none compared to what we had here! I had crab legs… absolutely fantastic! Hubby had catfish and it was amazing! Everything we had was great, service was great, Heather was an outstanding waitress! We will go back as many times as we can!
