First off, right in the door, I loved the atmosphere. We were offered swing seats. My daughter said she had to see it first it was exactly as they said. A swing for a seat at the table. We fell in love ❤️ Plant life and a nice heated area, some tables had fire pits in the middle.
Menu is full of great options, but I went with the Classic Eggs Benedict. The hollaindaise was creamy and velvety. Definitely one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Among other things we tried, the bacon was the perfect cook, potatoes were crisp and flavorful, and the Green Chile Chorizo was flavorful and not too spicy!
We ordered the Moremosa Flight that was everything I was expecting. The Passionfruit Moremosa was my personal favorite. For dessert we indulged in the Apple Pie Eggroll with ice cream!
Service was attentive and fast.
We will definitely be back!!
Waitress offered to take the frozen items off the tab, then when the check comes it’s still on the tab. Her reasoning was that she got distracted… In a late night dining with 3 tables of customers and 2 waitress.
Overall, unimpressed.
I got the Hash Brisket with the Side Bacon. The generous portions were steaming fresh, seasoned wonderfully, and felt like a good value for the price. I’ll certainly be coming back to try out other selections off the menu and soaking in the hipster (affectionate) vibes.
My fiancé ordered the New York steak and I ordered the Beef Wellington. The potato cakes were incredibly flavorful and the broccolini was grilled to perfection. The steak was cooked exactly as requested—medium rare—and it came out perfect.
The Beef Wellington was one of the best I’ve had. It was packed with flavor, the portion size was great, and it was cooked perfectly. The mushroom sauce that came with it was honestly amazing—nothing I’ve had before paired so well with a Wellington. It elevated the whole dish and made the meal even better.
The service was also wonderful. Our server was sweet, very attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the whole meal, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
The only small note was that my fiancé felt the New York steak seasoning was a little too herby for her personal taste, but that’s completely subjective—everyone’s palate is different.
Overall, this place is underrated and easily deserves a 5-star rating. The vibes are immaculate and the theming throughout the restaurant creates a really great atmosphere. If you’re looking for a tasteful place to eat that feels elegant but is still reasonably priced, this is definitely the spot.
5/5 ⭐
The service was quick and straightforward. He took our order and made sure we were good. So I was happy with that.
First impressions on the atmosphere is the typical Portland grungy, punk vibe. But I gotta say that place needs a deep clean. The inside had an awful smell that I could not pin point. But kinda smelled like burnt hair and homeless mixed with a middle school locker room. The patio is greasy and could heavily use a pressure washer and some soap.
I have certain food restrictions due to my religion, and are not able to have a lot of breakfast favorites because they often have pork. I was so happy to see eggs Benedict with veggie sausage and biscuits and gravey with non-pork options (elk and mushroom).
The drinks too! Veg bloody maries! The Rosemary Paloma was great too.
My server Mars was awesome and is great at what they do. When I mentioned it was my birthday, they said they’d cover my drink for me!
I found this place while visiting from out of state and I hope to come back again before I leave!
Thank you for the good experience and I hope everyone else has just a great of an experience as I did. Highly recommend.
