This is only my second time visiting this restaurant and once again I was very pleased. The restaurant was clean, plenty of sitting, and staff was great. I want to give a huge shout out to Pedro the young man who took our order. He was patient, kind, and an overall excellent listener. Very few times to I go to a restaurant and make changes and my order is correct.
I ordered the smoky bacon panini with no thousand island dressing, no avocado, and the tomato’s on the side. Call it crazy but I don’t like mushy stuff or anything that will make my sandwich soggy. I was so highly impressed when I received my order. But truth be told I immediately lifted up the bread to see what mistake was made this time. WOWOWOWOW not one mistake. My sandwich was perfect and that is all thanks to Pedro. Thanks Pedro for ensuring we would be returning customers. I will post some pictures of food we got….oops hubby had already started on his delicious soup before I got the pic, but soup was hot (I could still see the steam…so probably will order that next time) and it was filled to the rim.
We also purchased the strawberry shortcake and pumpkin spice cake which were both a hit…not pictured.

Excellent sandwiches, soups and salad bar. Everything on the salad bar was fresh, and had chocolate and vanilla pudding. They even have free refills on drinks when you dine inside, and free chocolate and vanilla ice cream cones! It was a nice dine in experience.

Bernice, the catering manager, provided excellent customer service. She was polite, listened carefully, and made sure everything was handled properly. We order catering several times a year, and her professionalism genuinely changed my perspective of Jason’s Deli for the better.

I haven’t been to Jason’s in Beaumont for many years and sadly, I won’t be back. The food in the salad bar wasn’t very good, the potato salad was more like mustard salad. Everything felt sticky, including the silverware. They give you dull butter knives to cut everything with and when I asked for a steak knife or something that would actually cut the food they didn’t have any. The ice cream was so runny you couldn’t make a cone. Yeah it was bad, just bad. And I don’t like to give bad reviews.

My address is a little confusing but the delivery driver from doordash was very adamant about getting my food. I give her a 10-star rating. I did not have cash on hand as I ran out the door. I would love to leave her a tip or get her a raise. She was great! Happy New Year!

I guess it matters what you get here. I don’t eat here often so I asked for a recommendation from the people who invited me. I was told to go with the Manager’s Special. That comes with half a sandwich, chips, and a cup of soup. My problem is not with the quality if the food. The food was good. My problem is with the portion sizes. I took a photo of my sandwich and my friend so much and his was much bigger than mine. We both got the same thing. His sandwich is twice the size of mine for the same price. It just doesn’t seem right to me.

The original might be the best! Jason’s deli has great quality food for a fair price and this location is very open and accommodating. I’ve been here twice in my travels and the food has always been some of the best you can have while on the road and their staff gets your food out quickly! I think the menu is more diverse here, it seems like they might have a test kitchen and other locations learn from their experiments? No matter this is a great place for a meal!

Jason’s deli dropped the ball big time tonight. Ordered managers special with half a sandwich and a side. Smallest, worthless, most carelessly assembled sandwich I’ve ever received. Literally had McDonald’s screw up and end up with a better product than this. Almost no chicken, cheese isn’t even on the sandwich, one full leaf of spinach that was tore up and wilted and a super sad tomato that is completely dried up. To top it off, it looks like someone punched it flat and threw it in the box. This, a bag of plain ruffles, and a small fruit cup cost me over $13 after tax. Do better Jason’s deli.
P.S. to add insult to injury, they got the order wrong. Sandwich wasn’t even supposed to have chicken. Somehow, whoever made this sandwich messed up in such an impressive way that they somehow put too much and too little chicken…. not even mad, impressed at this point.

The food is always great.I really wish the restaurant could have a more private eating areas (maybe tall roomy booths with partions ) and a little noise reduction. It was crowded and the tables were cramped it was also soooo loud inside we barely could have a conversation. We haven’t been here in a year and it was the same last year. The foods great maybe I’ll just stick to the carry out.

17JUN25: one word: muffuletta. Nuff said. =Peace=

Many ways to enjoy Jason’s. The menu has additions, clever creation that hit and miss. Nothing is bad but, some will hit the taste sensors more than others. The original and best is the muffuletta. It truly is the best of the rest. The bread is so perfect, I find eating it is an emotional boost. I remember the bright days of living in the crescent city. Good golly.
