I have to say this is a very nice looking place. I’ve been to a couple of their locations. I’m in my early sixties and I would tell you that this is a perfect place for all. Great place for young married couples to hang out with their friends. The beer selection along with the rest of the bar is fantastic, they have outdoor seating, everything is handicap accessible, plenty of tables, nice Decor, plenty of TVs, and a wonderful staff. I was very surprised when I ordered the Smokey Bone sampler which came to the table quickly, very hot, looking good, but not a lot of food. They claimed it will feed 1-4 but it’s a small , it’s a typical snack size sampler for one or two. Pricey at ($39.00). What was in the sampler was very good just not worth the money.

Nice portions and the food was delicious. The fried pickles were a nice starter. The pulled pork was tender and tasty, especially with the Chipotle sauce. The only drawback was that the floor was very sticky.
***Update: the daily happy hour is really good. They have nice-priced finger foods.

Ok, so for a little spot near the mall Smokey bones was absolutely delicious. I did not expect the amount of food, the taste and quality to just check ALL of my boxes. The wings were delicious and flavorful, you need to get the smoked wings obviously! But the NACHOS were a star for us. Pulled pork, chicken and just everything else nachos should have on them and we did not leave a CRUMB of these so I don’t even have pictures! well seasoned food, reasonable prices and great quality. The drinks were great as well. I had a blackberry bourbon drink that was so delicious and pretty STRONG but.. I am not a big drinker so it may have just taken me out lol. Service was great at the bar as well, no issues or complaints here! Highly recommend for these nachos and the smoked wings, you’ve gotta try it!

We had a great visit at Smokey Bones! The food was very tasty, although the pulled pork was a bit dry. My drink was delicious! The desserts, including apple cobbler and the chocolate cake were great, especially the chocolate cake, which was out of this world. Most importantly, our waiter was absolutely top notch!!!

Pretty good BBQ and grill place. The dining room is large and bright. On a nice day, alfresco seating is also available.
We got brisket, “Smoked and bbq combo” with Caesar side salads. The meat was moist and flavorful. Brisket could use a bit less BBQ sauce. Overall, it was better than what we would expect from a chained BBQ. The beer and wine list is extensive and impressive.
Service was more than adequate. We did not have to ask for anything.

Greeted warmly. Very short wait for our server. Nice quiet atmosphere. We got the sampler. HUGE plate. Had the sliced chicken breast w/upgrade side(cinnamon apples). Worth the upcharge. Hubby got the ribs & bbq baked beans. Very good. Went for the bbq & burbon. Was not disappointed!

The staff needs to be more organized & don’t argue with each other. The food is over price . We had to reorder my steak since it was over cooked . I do recommend the fry pickles. The Hawaiian steak had a lot of fat around it and not worth the $30. My total bill was $82 for 1 appetizer 1 drink 1beer and two meals , just way over price for something you could get in your basic restaurants . #disappointed

Ask for Hunter!!! He will make your visit very enjoyable!! If he isn’t available, Christina will serve you up right – she extended an appreciated helping hand!!

We had the BONFIRE for 4, yes it was plenty to take home & enjoy again!! Fresh coffee & donuts were recommended to top off the meal….yum!! Don’t hesitate!
Make the choice to eat for a great BBQ treat!

Food is usually really good. But I’m upset with the service I received for take out. I ordered takeout on Tuesday and it just looked depressing. My chicken sandwich was more like a grilled chicken nugget on bread and they didn’t even put the lettuce or tomato. I would’ve been ok with the size of the chicken if they at least put toppings. Then my partner got the pulled pork sandwich and they put everything everywhere except the bread. I hate to give bad reviews but this needed to be said. I hope the quality gets better in the future because I really do enjoy eating here.

Smokey Bones is a nice barbeque style reataurant, which is attached to the Montgomeryville Mall. They have a separate outside entrance, so you aren’t stuck if the mall closes. They have a good selection of meats with good smoked wings, pulled pork, burgers, steaks and more. The fried pickles are good, but they don’t have onion rings. On my most recent visit, the food was good and so was the service. The cook even came out to check on us. It’s not “real” barbeque, but it’s pretty close, especially for a non-southern restaurant.
