We drove from Dawsonville just to come here for brunch, and it was absolutely worth it. My husband ordered the lobster hash and I had the lobster skillet — they were almost identical and both were fantastic. We’re both picky about seafood (he’s from Maine and I’m from Florida), and the lobster was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Everything tasted fresh and well-balanced. Next time I’ll just ask for the hollandaise on the side so I can add it as I go. Great job all around.

Great for Strak and Seafood. Every dish was more appealing than the next. Seafood was very fresh, steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection. We had a party of 10 for my wife’s birthday and our wait staff performed absolutely amazing! Excellent choice!

Very first dining experience at this restaurant and I was very disappointed. Before I start our server CURTIS was excellent and Andrew in the kitchen was nice and that’s the only reason I gave a rating for the atmosphere. The manager “BERMIR” unbelievable. Our reservation was for 6:15. for a party of four. We were not seated until almost 6:50. We ordered appetizers, salad and entrees. Salad came out at 7:35, appetizers came out at 8:45 and the entrees came out about 10 minutes later at almost 9:00p.m. and they close at 10 o clock. We requested the manager because our food had not come out after waiting for some time to be seated. BERMIR said he was going to check in the kitchen to find out what was going on and he NEVER returned instead he sent our waiter and Andrew from the kitchen to take the heat from hungry patrons. We came here for a girls night out dinner and one of our guests had to leave to pick up her child after arriving on time she left at 8:20 TWO hours later with absolutely NO FOOD! Her food came to the table at 8:55. Do not patronize this place. I know things happen perhaps they are understaffed but as a manager when things are not going right your response should start with an apology and end with a solution not you asking your employees to fix the issue for you and not you asking the customer what can you do? The thing to do was for you to lead with your solution. Very disappointed!!!! Never again!!!

We had such an amazing experience! The manager, Keesha, was so kind and attentive. She checked on us multiple times to make sure everything was perfect. Our server, Juan, was equally wonderful, super friendly, professional, and made sure we always had what we needed. The food was absolutely delicious, everything came out fresh and full of flavor. Overall, such a great dining experience from start to finish!

I had an amazing experience at Coalition. Devin, my server was phenomenal. She has a genuinely great spirit and was very helpful when choosing from the menu considering I had never been there. The manager was also wonderful. The food, spectacular! Everything was hot and delicious. I had crab cakes, fried lobster, salmon. I had the mango bread pudding which was the best bread pudding I ever had in my life! If you are looking for a fancy place for a great evening out I highly recommend.

From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming. Not very long after we were seated, we were greeted by our server named Curtis. He was excellent at retaining exactly what we asked for and made suggestions that complimented what we already wanted. Everything we ordered tasted so good! EVERYTHING. He also payed great attention to what we needed before we even asked for it. Curtis was so attentive to us that I will be asking for him, specifically, when we return. Curtis made our overall experience at Coalition 10 out of 10. He deserves all the things and definitely all the tips.

The food was delicious! We ordered the Steak Sampler with the fingerling potatoes with an extra side of the brocollini. The lamb was so tender, and the ribeye and filet were amazing too. Ask for a side of garlic butter; it’s heavenly! I also thoroughly enjoyed my drink: Pear Dream.
Our server, Derek, delivered great service and was funny to boot! Harrison, who filled our water glasses, was warm and personable. The lady who was either the manager or some type of supervisor was also an absolute delight–and brought round the bottle of St. George’s Spiced Pear liquor with a taster so that we could try it on its own and grab a bottle for ourselves! We also received two compliments from other waiters which was so lovely. We noted how wonderful everyone who worked there seemed to be, so you can’t go wrong!
The only thing I will note is that it gets loud inside, and the acoustics were not good where we were sitting, so it was difficult to hear Derek half the time. However, that is not a reason to pass this place over!

Oh my! The food was sensational! I chose the fish sampler, there wasn’t one piece I tasted that wasn’t seasoned superb. In addition, the cocktails were delicious. The staff were all helpful and had excellent customer care!
I’ll rate Coalition steakhouse a 10, I come from a long line of professional and experienced chefs , self included. Seasoned to perfection!

Perfect timing! I just so happened to be in the neighborhood during the Singer Songerwriter festival and stopped into Coalitions Food for a bite to eat and front row seat to the show.
The staff was friendly and attentive and the food was so fresh!
I’m a very picky eater so I definitely rate restaurants on how well they can do simple things. The wings were fresh and well seasoned. The Green Goddess dressing on the salad was phenomenal!
Ultimately, the restaurant and GM are impeccable and embody the spirit of hospitality and I’m sure anyone and everyone would feel welcome here.
