It’s probably been years since I’ve had Sonic. We went inside to order since its so cold and didn’t want to make the carhop have to go outside. It was clean and orderly. The kiosk ordering was down but that’s okay, we ordered at the window. The gentleman who took our order was polite, quick and knowledgeable. Only waited a few minutes for our food. The chicken bites have a great breading on them. Our 6yr old loved’em. Went with a classic bacon double cheeseburger and it sure hit the spot! Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Can’t beat the Happy Hour prices on the slushies! So many possible combinations that you could get a different drink for each day of the month. Took me right back to my childhood.

The food was old and cold the tater tots felt like they never been cooked the fries were old and cold The burger had too much mustard on it they still didn’t fix it like I wanted I asked for mayo and mustard not mustard and ketchup I don’t know what it is with the Illinois but Lord have mercy help them when it comes to cooking I’m from the south so I’m used to eating good food. I stopped at Aurora’s Illinois sonics it’s the worst food you can ever eat if you traveling please don’t stop here your food will be so old and cold I don’t know how corporate work here but hey this is the worst place to eat. I ask for a sweet tea not water tea. The kids meal Lord Jesus it’s worser please hire some people that know how to cook cuz whoever you got in your kitchen ain’t cooking.

Food is delicious, but they never seem to make the food ahead of time when I order online. I placed an order (GrubHub) 30 minutes before arriving and it wasn’t made by the time we got there. Had to wait 15 minutes for food after I arrived, so the extra fees I paid were a waste of money. This has been a recurring issue. I’m giving it a 4 for service because it’s not an issue if you order there, just don’t bother ordering ahead.

This was my first experience at this location. I’m leaving this review with that managers improve the training and communications skills of their crew. I pulled up tonight at around 7:15pm to the drive-thru. The young man at the intercom did not communicate well—meaning I couldn’t tell if he was ready to take my order or if he was listening to me even after he told me he was ready—nothing was appearing on the screen until a long delay. I ordered the three $6 All American Smasher Meal as indicated by the flashing signage in front of the restaurant. He charged me the full price which was nearly $12 each. I reiterated to him that the promotional said it was $6. Then he proceeded to charge me just for the sandwiches only. I told him I wanted to the meal, and he said “okay”. Upon picking up the order, it was only the sandwiches. I went inside the store and told him I ordered the meal and pointed to the flashing $6 promotional sign. He told me he could not see the sign. I pointed to it and read it to him verbatim. He told me he could not accommodate me. (Offer me the fries or drink, talk to the manager, refund etc.) He told me I would have to contact the corporate offices to complain about the sign. I told him all I wanted him to do was enter my order correctly because I had explicitly told him I wanted the promotional meal. And he froze like a deer in the headlights. I was not rude. But I was certainly confused. I decided the fries and drink weren’t worth making him feel more anxious. But the fact that he was not able to get a manager or offer me the promotional after the fact indicates that there are some training issues with that crew tonight. Just wanted managers to correct that!

I had Sonic as a child or teenager and remember it being such a fun experience. My coworkers and I went to this one for a quick lunch, which unfortunately ended up taking the whole time we had. There was only one employee and he was running back and forth between the to-go window, the kitchen, and I have nothing but the best wishes for his success. Would be really nice if the company gave him some extra help and probably a raise too! He deserves it!

Very quickly responded to my order and delivered it in a very few minutes. I was outside at one of the audio ordering kiosks. Order was accurate and complete. Burger hot dog onion rings drink, extra ketchup. All the food was warm and cooked appropriately. Push the button, order, pay . Food is delivered to my car very quickly. First time using the audio ordering kiosk.

I’ve been coming here for over 10years, and i’ve watched the evolution of this place growing, the menus gotten better, the ability to sit with the covering is nice, it was cool when the servers came out on skates at one point too. but the fun is quick and fun, great for a fun stop. I really love the shakes or slushies.

There was a bunch of cars all using the drive in spots. We pulled in and before we even attempted to order we were sent around to the drive through. The car next to us and the cars that pulled in after us got car side service. It’s not fair and it really rubbed me the wrong way. The staff was rude and the food was terrible. Do not go here.
