My god tonights dinner was fantastic. For 35 bucks I had one awesome meal. The 6oz filet with shrimp and Cajun cream sauce was delicious. Their croissants are delicious and the butter is as well. It also didn’t hurt that our waitress was the sweetest lady. Highly recommend this as a Lexington couples night out.

Wish I had saved my money and gone to McDonalds instead. Went on a Sunday night. The parking lot was full and the wait was approx 30 mins for a table. The service was fine, and the menu SOUNDED tasty. But the food itself lacked flavor, the mac and cheese tasted boxed, the chili had that acidic bite to it, my husband’s 1st steak was greatly undercooked, (he’d requested medium well). The bread was the best part of the meal, and the server took out basket without asking if we wanted more. LOL. We won’t be back. We love meat so steakhouses are right up our alley. This restaurant was very disappointing.

Wow, that was some good food! Steak & pork chop cooked to perfection. So tender, juicy & flavorful! Relaxed atmosphere and extra-friendly and attentive staff. Restrooms clean & sticked. Very extensive bar menu. I highly recommend the Porterhouse Pork Chop.

We have never been to this steakhouse and was told by a friend of a friend that the staks at Texas was the best. So we have been wanting to come try for a long time. Well tonight was the night me and my wife our son and daughter-n-law. My wife ordered a filet medium. It was rare then thy took it back to cook some more it was still rare. My wife asked to take it off the bill and they did that was fine . My ribye was cooked right but not much flavor. Our son got a ribye his was not a good cut and no taste and all fat and not much meat. I know a ribye can be thar way but anyway . My wife proceeded to tell the waitress about it being our first time and not a good experience but she cut that off really fast.. very rude.. most restaurants take the whole one meal off. We still got charged for the salad and sweet potato she got with the meal.. they must really be hurting for the money.. we will never go there again and recommend no one else makes the same mistake..

Came for a birthday dinner. We ordered the onion appetizer. It wasn’t cooked thoroughly. I had the filet, salad and mashed potatoes. The steak cooked to the right temp. The rest of the families food, blackened salmon, ribs combination and burger salad and sides were all good. Our server did a great job. It does get a bit loud on weekends and this was a Friday. Recommend

First time there (Saturday night, 5:30PM). It makes me think of a Texas Roadhouse want to be. To me the food seems to be a little over priced for what you get. The onion rings are huge and the breading was great but something about the onion itself was off. The Rib Eye steak had good flavor but was a bit on the tough side. The food delivery robot was cool and the wait staff were good. In the end would I go back, maybe.

Very busy location because their service and food quality are the best! They also have a robot that helps deliver the food to their tables and it’s neat watching it work and the people work around it and with it. It is very neat to watch and did I mention the service is exceptional too! Great table service!

I come here every weekend! The food is great and more importantly so is the waitstaff. Mindy behind the bar is absolutely amazing. Even when the bar is slammed she manages to get everyone taken care of in a timely manner. She is the main reason that I continue to come here. She makes you feel welcome and part of the family. Food is well portuoned and fairly priced. Great job!!

Have been going to the Taphouse for 5 years (approx) and have had some of the beat times and experiences going out for food could offer. The staff are wonderful with great attitudes and appreciation for thier customers. The food is almost always correct and cooked to perfection. One time have I complained about my steak and it was fixed immediately to my approval.
The bar atmosphere is of a laid back country tavern and at times gets pretty hectic but Mindy always comes through with the best attitude and is a genuinely kinda hearted wonderful woman. She is always attentive and great with her mixology skills!
