Had a double burger meal deal it was a good deal. The burger and toppings were fresh and good. Really liked the skinny fries. The manager Paul was very helpful. The restaurant was very clean and bright. Grandson had a shake that he said was very good. Definitely will go back soon

Wonderful place. The dining room was immaculate, the bathrooms were clean and well stocked, the service was excellent and speedy especially with only 2 people working this late. I can’t wait to try this food it looks delicious.

The food was Incredible. The garlic steak burger, the Oreo mint milkshake, the onion rings were absolutely perfect. I will not eat at any other fast food restaurants while I’m in Rockford. My entire family agrees with me. If I could give this place 10 stars I would without a moment’s hesitation. Truly a must try while you’re here.

Very disappointed in this last visit! The cook had no hair net and beautiful hair. Wel, that beautiful hair is not welcome in my burger! The floors were so sticky I had to curl my toes up in my het dudes to keep them on! And no toilet paper in the bathroom that has a full garbage. The shake I had was supposed to be an Oreo shake it was strawberry flavored. So someone didn’t rinse the machine between shakes! Gross! I was refunded for the burger and asked for a cup to finish my shake anyway because I’m not a complete jerk. But when I got down the road and all of the sudden get freezing cold shake pouring out the side of the cup I got so mad! How the hell is this any kind of a acceptable? I got it things happen but cleanliness and good customer service is all it really takes to keep a person coming back. Sadly I drove over an hour to come here because that’s what we wanted to eat for the food to not taste good (the buns tasted moldy) I am very upset by our visit and am not sure I ever want to return.

Coming here for lunch in the afternoon, I have to say this steak n shake is one of the best I’ve ever been to. Whenever coming here, the burgers and fries are a much higher quality than any other fast food restaurant. Not only this, but each time we go there we have the same cashier who’s kind and makes sure the order’s if fulfilled. Highly recommend this location.

Went and saw a movie and came after. This WAS our usual “after movie” hang out…. will NOT be coming back. Food was OVERLY greasy, floor was absolutely disgusting, trays AND food were COVERED in grease, and, to top it off, the lettuce on my burger was black and wilted. Also….had to scan a receipt to get my drink? Saw 7 people come after us having issues to just get their drinks…

Now I’m Not a fast food frequent flyer at all. That said, order at a kiosk, req lettuce, onion, tom. & pickles, get order, and have to go back up to request them again. No one was anywhere up front so I had to flag down someone. Not a complete deal breaker, but not having someone up front to take your order just seems very automated and sterile. Restaurant, & restroom was clean, guess it’s hard to find enough bodies to staff nowadays.

20 minutes since I ordered. Nobody is moving. Gave up and left and saw 5 people standing around the window register. I left without food. Families food I got from McDs is ICE cold too. Little communication goes a long way when you make people wait that long. Lost a regular customer tonight.

Slowest drive through of any Steak and Shake I’ve ever been too. 20 minutes to move 4 cars. Food is still pretty good though if you can spare that kind of time.

I ordered & had them repeat the order & still they didn’t give me what I ordered. I ordered a double hamburger with just ketchup and they gave me a double cheeseburger despite double checking at the window & still was given what I did not order. This happens a lot at this location & honestly takes them forever for them do anything. I miss the old Steak N Shake with waiters and great service! Not this modern do it yourself empty place.
