Awesome BBQ in Joliet, Brisket melts in your mouth. Super Bowl munchies for my wife and I. Can’t go wrong. Greenbeans, Cucumber salad, Cornbread, delish man and some left over for tomorrow. Thankyou Baby Back Blues, visit you again soon. Everything I ate here was very good, never disappointed. They also added a very nice dinning area with 2 TV’s to chill and watch a game while you enjoy your BBB chow.

What a disappointment this place was. Ordered a large brisket and thank god I did because there large was like a small. They no longer provide regular onions. Great little BBQ restaurant that has been around for many years, serving some of the best barbecue in the area.
The restaurant is small with just a few tables and is mostly carry out.
The ribs are served dry and you get to pick from only 3 different sauces.
The ribs were very soft & moist, they just fell of the bone.
The brisket was delicious, and it had just the right amount of fat.
The pulled pork was slightly on the fatty side and the portion was slightly on the small side.
Their sides like the mac & cheese, green beans and mashed potatoes, were also good.
I’ll have to come back and try some of the other items, like the smoke sausage.

The food was great, and my guests loved it! I placed my order online two hours in advance so I could pick it up quickly, but when I arrived, they hadn’t started preparing it yet. While I appreciate that this likely made the food fresher, it delayed me by about five minutes past my scheduled pickup time. Someone who ordered a similar meal at the counter after me received their food before I did, which made my online order feel like a wasted effort.

This food is great! Traveled in from MN on a work trip and this location was near my hotel so I figured I would try it out, and I was not disappointed. The chicken I got was moist, flavorful, and in a large, filling portion. The staff was very nice as well.

Six small tables inside. However, much better to order food to-go from here. Doesn’t seem like many people come to eat inside. We sat in the restaurant to eat and were there for about an hour and while people came to pick up orders, no one sat here.

My Tiny Gripe: More fries and more sauce please and thank you dear.
My Suggestion: If you’re not in a rush- grab a seat and eat there. The music, the decor, the smells, the other chow hounds who give you a smile and a knowing nod of approval on your excellent choice in good eats.
I’m working my way thru the menu and I’ve been absolutely delighted with every bite every time I’ve gone in there over the years, so the consistency is pretty solid. There’s new eateries popping up and there’s old ones who’ve shut down.
