I have also received the wrong amount of change multiple times when coming here. Management is very unhelpful and does not seem to address these issues. I’ve also seen workers touch their face, hair, and nose without washing their hands afterward, which is very concerning when they are handling food. I will never eat here again
Date of Visit: Sunday, November 24, 2025
Location: 290 Lee Byrd Rd, Loganville, GA
Order: 12-Piece Chicken Meal
I am beyond disappointed and frankly, revolted, by my experience at the Loganville Popeyes location.
I placed an order for a 12-piece meal and what I received was a complete disregard for basic food safety and hygiene. I watched the staff handling food in the back, and not a single person was wearing hairnets or gloves. In a restaurant serving fried food, this is a major red flag, and my worst fears were confirmed.
Nothing—and I mean nothing—is more turning than biting into a piece of chicken and feeling a long, foreign object in your mouth. I immediately realized it was a hair embedded right in the crust of my chicken. I was instantly turned off and felt like throwing up. It ruined my entire meal and my appetite for the rest of the day.
This level of negligence is appalling. Where was the manager during this shift? Why are your employees not being trained on or held accountable for the most fundamental hygiene standards? This isn’t just a mistake; it’s a serious food safety issue that could make people sick.
I remember when this location first opened; the food was hot, the service was clean, and the quality was excellent. It seems the standards have plummeted entirely. I came here for a classic chicken meal, and instead, I was delivered a disgusting surprise. Until there is a serious overhaul in hygiene practices and management oversight, I will not be returning. Do better, Popeyes.
Edit* once again!! You guys left something out of my order and this was a few days after this post. These cute responses don’t mean anything until you actually get it together.
I ordered online and set a pickup time. I arrived 10 minutes late and it still was not filled. Once I got inside every African American person was pleasantly and quickly helped. As a Caucasian, I went to the counter five separate times asking about my order while everyone elses order was being filled. My order was nothing special, a five piece meal, that’s all. I was quickly listened to and forgotten about. 30 minutes later, I had to literally bring race into the issue just to get my order. And then it was slow to be fulfilled and tossed across the counter rather angrily.
Everyone other than caucasians complain about racism but, what else would you call this. It’s not slow service, not a lack of product (look at the photo) it’s not bad service as every one else was helped promptly. It’s not that I was lost in the shuffle as I am 6 feet tall and the only caucasian in the restaurant.
Sad…
The Manager looked like he was also having a great time, not managing.
This location needs a major revamp.
take your money somewhere else you feel valued…………..
It seems like upper management made the decision to step in and clean house—and it’s paying off. My husband and I recently dined in, and we could immediately feel and taste the difference. We felt welcomed, and the food was fresh and well-prepared.
Thank you for taking the time to read customer feedback and take action. Your efforts to turn this location around have not gone unnoticed. Popeyes almost lost us as customers, but these positive changes have given us a reason to keep coming back!
