Samurai Japanese Steakhouse never disappoints. The food is fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor — every bite feels like a show of its own. The hibachi chefs are pure entertainment; they keep you laughing while serving up steak, shrimp, and fried rice that melt in your mouth. The portions are generous, and the service is quick and friendly even when it’s busy. The atmosphere is clean, fun, and perfect for family dinners or date nights. I’ve been to a lot of hibachi spots, but Samurai sets the bar. Definitely worth every penny.

This place has dropped dramatically in quality over the past five years. The service was okay, although some of the food had to be asked about before it showed up, and the servers themselves were generally attentive and pleasant and I have zero complaints about them at all. However, if you go here, avoid the sushi rolls, it was 50% cucumber and avocado by volume and gave me almost instantaneous food poisoning. I am currently writing this review from my bathroom with cramps and nausea. Both ends level stuff.

Great atmosphere. Francis was our Waitress and she is phenomenal! Polite, attentive, and friendly. The restaurant was clean, and smelled good.
We ordered the Miso Soup, Red Rock, California, and California Express.
Everything was absolutely fresh and delicious. Prices were reasonable. Lots of parking.
Regarding the previous review alleging discrimination, my friend is Haitian and we were greeted warmly, and treated like long time customers.

I was really disappointed. My daughter and I came in for a date night about an hour before closing… place smelled dank, food was okay, but we didn’t get what we ordered. We wanted to do tympanyaki, but we were too late. Wait staff were inattentive and yelling back and forth across the restaurant to one another… there were still 6 tables in the restaurant in use. Maybe we will give them another try earlier in the day.
